...for the win. Best song on the album and, lyrically, one of her best. The "gossamer wings" bull**** in Fall From Grace makes me giggle.

I just listened to TISL and FFG back to back. I realized that I prefer the more rocking song to TISL. Fall From Grace was the very first TISL song I ever heard. I remember taping the Blockbuster awards and watching FFG over and over and over. I loved it and I still do to this day. Don't get me wrong, I think Trouble in Shangri La is one of the best songs Stevie has ever done, I just like Fall From Grace better. :)

Well for me Everyday was my favourite song on the album. But to be honest TISL is one of her best songs lyricly. FFG just doesn't do it for me.

yeah. I was really torn, but I just listened to them both, and really, The main part of TISL that I love is the chorus and where she goes "you can consume all the beauty in the room". So then I also thought of her doing FFG live. It really just kicks way big asses. Mine, actually. :) Scream it, Sistah!

For a long time I didn't listen to this song because I blamed it for me getting in to a (minor) car accident once because it was playing when it happened...but any song that can cause that deserves to win :laugh:

Lyrically, TISL is the better song, but oh my God, Fall From Grace so rocks and is one of my very favorite songs on this album--hell, in my top 10 Stevie songs of all time. And in concert, it just SO kicks ass. Again, TISL is the better song lyrically in my opinion, but it will also hold a special place in my heart because on 9/11, I came home and desperately needed some kind of distraction. I remember getting on my treadmill and working out and putting on TISL and hearing Stevie sing these lines which almost caused me to stop in my tracks (and break my neck in the process-LOL), anyway, they just seemed so utterly perfect for what I was feeling at the moment:
