An immunity question in the final round  Interesting..

Just a random guess: $50.000. Immunity to McVie.

Anyway, John McVie to win!

If McVie and Welch fight it out to the death must they use just their bare fists and their wits, or are they allowed to use knives and other weaponry?

Either way, I shall cheer for dear old John!

Welch deserves a title of some kind.

If not for him, the band wouldn't be still making bad music today.

If that's the answer, Damn you Macdougal!!!!!!!
I looked for THREE hours last night, until I fell asleep looking.
I guess David didn't notice that there's never immunity on the last round. :distress:

AGAIN, this is the first and only Survivor with IMMUNITY in the final round, so VOTING doesn't matter. Only the person who gets the immunity question.

That could be debated. If you consider the genesis of Fleetwood Mac to be that legendary session when Mick, John, and Peter were in the Bluesbreakers that resulted in the song "Fleetwood Mac," then McVie was there from the beginning. But, even if you don't, it's not like the few weeks Brunning was in Fleetwood Mac were all that significant, and it was already known that he was a temp until McVie joined them. In any event, I can't think of one other member who went through as much as John. He IS the ULTIMATE FM survivor.

And what if John hadn't changed his mind? Remember he wasn't too keen on leaving his other gig.
Anyway, none of our votes count anyway, since David made immunity for the final round. Kinda like a fixed election. People,.... go out and vote, but there can only be the pre-designated winner.

I've never bought the whole horn story. I think he was just waiting to make sure Fleetwood Mac was viable. Once he saw that they were popular enough, he was in. Anyway, it was okay to drink in Fleetwood Mac. :D Besides, even Brunning questions whether or not he could legitimately be considered a former member of Fleetwood Mac. At best, it was a temp gig.

Oh come now. If you had gotten the question right, you wouldn't have the same objection. It was a fair question, but it appears that McVie would win regardless of the immunity question.

No, I still would've agreed that immunity makes NO sense in the final round, even if I were bathing in my own glory. You can't have an election where only ONE candidate can win, and that's why there's no immunity IN the final round. NOW, John and all the Nazi memorabilia are starting to make sense! ;)

Even if John got, say, two additional votes instead of immunity, it wouldn't change the fact that he beat Bob. For some reason, people love McVie. I saw three shows on the SYW tour, and every time they announced who was in the band, John got the loudest applause, which shocked me to be honest, but in a good way. For me, I love the fact that he seems to be the least whiney, least full of crap member in the group. He just shuts up and plays.

I can say AMEN to that. And don't get me wrong, I love John.
I just feel Bob's underappreciated. I like the underdog. Always have.

Don't fret, though, Homie -- for Bob to come in 2nd is an amazing feat. He would be gratified, I'm sure. In fact, I bet he'd think it was more than a little suspect for him to beat out Peter Green.

This is not a vote. I've already done that. I just want to say how surprised I was at this round. I was expecting Stevie Nicks to be one of the contenders. I guess there are more pre-Rumours fans than I previously thought. Also, as important as he is, I thought there was no snowball's chance in hell that John would even make it so far. Same goes for Bob Welch.
