Cilla still looks great to me...the only thing that I might would change is her hair color. Her skin is very very light and the eggplant type hair color doesn't mix well with her complextion.

For example...these photos are recent but back before she died her hair the red color...I like the blond better!

<img src="http://www.simplymisty.com/simplycilla/gallery/albums/2000/windtalkers-premiere%20june%2011%202002/priscillap_grani_498498_400.jpg">

I just think she is a beautiful 60 year old woman...

About Ann...I think she is a very pretty girl! I think the reason you don't see it is because you probably hate her...lol.I just can't deal with the lips. I can't understand why people do that to their lips. It's not just her at all. I think Carrie Fisher is hot but I don't like those pictures of her where you can really tell how bad her lips are.

About Ann--she really does look manly to me. Also, I think she seriously needs to gain weight. I'm usually not attracted to skinny women. Of course there are exceptions and she's not one of them. I would feel that way no matter what her political leanings were, but the fact that she hates gay people doesn't help anything.

I have to agree. The first time I saw her I couldn't decide if she was just an ugly woman or a really bad tranny.

And Prescilla? Looks like one of those cheap imitation Barbie's you might find at a dollar store.

Cilla used to be stunning, but she messed up her lips badly. I think Lisa Marie is gorgeous.

Here are mine: Jensen Ackles from the WB show Supernatural (great show, btw.) He's the scruffy one on the right with the shorter hair.

Jensen Ackles (http://tv.zap2it.com/photos/index/0,1237,zp_fromThumb|95365|105854,00.html)

And my dear sweet Matthew. Drooooooooooooooooooooool.

She looks like Wildenstein from five years ago. Pretty gross, but there's no accounting for taste and everyone's is different, I suppose.

She's crossed the line into Wildenstein territory. Maybe the work is pretty recent, so the swelling will go down some.

Her lip work is recent (like this year) so it will go down...but I just don't have a big problem with them.

I would feel that way no matter what her political leanings were, but the fact that she hates gay people doesn't help anything.

First of all she doesn't hate gay people. She has gay friends...quite a few and she also makes sure she goes to the drag queens' Halloween parade in Greenwich Village every year.

Second of all. She is very skinny, but sometimes that isn't something that can be helped. I really think that that is the ONLY thing that people say about her that really bothers her. The woman eats LOVES food...but sometimes you are just skinny and can't help it. Like me...I can understand. I weigh only 125 lbs. and I am 6'1. So I am also skinny and tall...but it doesn't mean that I am any less good looking... :D

She has never said in any of her writings that she HATES gay people. She doesn’t agree with a "right" to gay marriage...because it's just not in the constitution.

It really bothers her when people say that? Well, I know that some people can eat and eat and it don't gain any weight. I can't imagine that, though.

I truly believe that if you take care of yourself, your body, your skin and maintain a healthy diet you can stay youthful...But if you are right and she has had some work done...then props to her surgeon.

Q. As an outstanding beauty, are you concerned about the aging process? Will you go the natural route?

A. (JACLYN) Well, I'm never going to say never. My mother certainly went naturally, and I think she is beyond beautiful. I don't like when you are just so pulled. That's obsessive, and I think anytime you are desperate and obsessive it's not attractive. As my mother says, "You can't change the look out of your eyes." I am not against plastic surgery; I'm a little frightened of surgery in itself. The funny thing -- I haven't gone through a midlife crisis. I've gone through empty nest; seeing a stroller in the park and realizing those days are gone was sort of more scary to me. But, yeah, we all want to look our best, we all want to stay in shape. I'm married to a heart surgeon. He says I need to do aerobic exercises and eat low-fat. And I do all that. But am I obsessed with aging? No. It's because I'm busy. I'm challenged. I am living beyond myself with my kids. Hey, we are all gonna age.

I personally think it's very vain...but then again, if it makes you feel better about yourself and you have the money to piss away then go for it. I suppose there is a fine line between plastic surgery and the fact that I have tattoos on my body. Anytime there's a beautiful 50 or 60-something woman, you insist she's had plastic surgery. But I can't figure out how 750 famous middle-aged women can look so fake and pulled, while 9 others have managed to apparently have "good work" done.

Did the "natural" looking ones just get lucky, or was the millions of dollars the other chicks spent just not enough for "good work"?

As I've said numerous times, it depends on what you have done and the extent to which you have it done. Jaclyn Smith looks ****ing great, but you won't convince me that she hasn't had anything done to her. There are plenty of women out there who don't look like they've had any surgery done (Lynda Carter, Susan Sarandon, Kate Jackson, Helen Mirren) and they look great, too, but they're exceptions to the rule in that business.

Everyone can do what they want to their own face, but I'd rather have wrinkles and sag a little, then risk looking like a pulled and stretched and Botoxed and collagened product of science.

Again, there's a difference between good work and bad work. Bad work is usually the result of going overboard and getting too overzealous in what you want done. The majority of people who have plastic surgery do not look like "products of science."

Because having plastic surgery does not automatically make one look like they're a "product of science." You use that label in a derogatory way, as if everyone who has plastic surgery looks bad and fake. Jaclyn Smith looks as good as she did 25 years ago with the help of plastic surgery; it's obvious just looking at her that she's had some work done. But she doesn't look like a "product of science," nor does she look completely unnatural.

If you can tell that someone's had work done, then what's the point in having it done in the first place?

But if you can look at someone's face and not be able to tell they had plastic surgery, then THAT'S what I'd think would be called "good work."

What the hell would be the point of going through plastic surgery if there wasn't a noticeable difference in your appearance?Well, if it's something like a nose-job, then obviously the point is to look different. I doubt Jennifer Grey had her nose done hoping that no one would catch on.

But if we're talking facelifts and botox injections, then I'd think you wouldn't want it to be "obvious" that you had work done.

I sure as hell wouldn't want to go through all the financial expense and recovery time, just to hear someone say, "he looks great, but it's obvious he's had work done."

No, you'd want to look exactly as you did beforehand with no noticeable differences. :rolleyes:I'm just thinking in terms of Jaclyn Smith here. You said she looks exactly like she did 20 years ago, but it's "obvious she's had work done."

Well, I don't recall a time when she's ever not looked like she did in the '70s... so if there wasn't a time when she was all wrinkly and jowly and then suddenly looked young again, what makes it "obvious" she's had work done?

When something is supposed to be "obvious," I expect to see stronger physical evidence than just the idea that since the woman looks "amazing for her age," then it must be due to plastic surgery.

But I think what it comes down to, is that you and I have very different ideas of what "obvious work" means.
You feel that if a woman looks exactly today as she did 20 years ago, then it's "obvious" she's had work done, while I think that using a phrase like "obvious work" sounds like it implies that there are tell-tale signs of surgery, like higher-than-normal brows or misshapen lips.

Unless the woman's features have changed in an unnatural way (a wide nose is suddenly narrow, thin lips are suddenly plump), then I don't assume anything.

The way in which the aging process works. You can see (or at least I can see) that Jaclyn's features have "dipped" a little, and that she does have wrinkles and puffiness under her eyes (and a less-than-tight neck). Nothing severe, of course, but they're there.

I'm not sure how many other signs of natural aging there have to be, to dispell the assumption that someone has had work done.

More than anything, it bothers me that a middle-aged woman who looks fantastic, is automatically assumed to have had work done.
Whether the person who makes the statement has no problems with people having plastic surgery or not, it still seems to be an unfair assumption.

She, to this day, has never had any work done - but at 79 and with a medical necessary surgery or hospitalization a year for six years, she finally shows her age. So, it most. def. can be done.

I think certain people have tell tale signs though, like taut cheeks and a sagging neck, etc.

Likely Venice or Santa Monica. He lives in Venice. I have met him and he is a doll. Almost exactly my height, which drives me nuts, and he is mild mannered, soft spoken, and a complete gentleman. TO be fair, many if not the majority of the 100,000 who did not evacuate did not want to evacuate and refused to go to the Superdome, etc. I would say the number of people who totally could not evacuate was more like 10,000 if that. Remember, the plan was to evacuate the people to the Superdome (which many did) and then they could return to their homes after the storm. Had the levees held, as they always had up to this point, that plan would have worked. Sadly, the levees did not hold and all Hell broke loose and FEMA was caught with its pants down and demostrated how inept it is. I mean we can get food and supplied to Pakistan in 12 hours and it takes four days in our own country. Give me a break.

Must I post that picture of the buses? There is no excuse for that. They had next to no evacuation plan, they did very little to actually evacuate people, and they're just as much to blame for what happened as the federal government is due to one thing: inaction. They simply did very little to evacuate people. Whether people would have left or not is neither here nor there because they didn't gas up those buses, they did not provide those buses with drivers, and they did not roll around the city picking people up.

I know about the buses, many of which BTW had been used earlier as the public transportation ran until Sunday. My point is many of those people were blocks from the Superdome and chose to ride out the storm instead of following instructions - it happens all of the time in hurricanes, trust me, I have witnessed it firsthand. Again, I am not talking about the people who literally could not leave their homes for a variety of reasons, those people were the ignored. I am talking about the able bodied people who no trouble leaving their houses after the storm and walking for blocks to loot non essential items.

My point is that they were from neighborhoods adjacent to the Superdome area and they chose not to walk there prior to the storm.

In the end, people were foolishly stubborn and chose not to leave or evacuate to the Superdome. I am a little uncertain how you can argue against that with a straight face. You seem to be saying the city should have gone individually to 100,000 + people and made them evacuate, which I suggest is an impossible task.

Stop spinning. Telling people "Just go to the Superdome" is nothing short of ridiculous.

Again, the Dome worked as people rode out the storm in safety inside of it - it was the lack of the govt. response after the levees broke that lead to the chaos.

In the end, what were they supposed to do, handcuff the people refusing to leave and put them on a bus to Tiger Stadium in Baton Rouge, which seems kind of silly when the Superdome was built to withstand these storms, which it did relatively unscathed.

What would have been a suitable plan to you?

I think we are talking about teo different things. The City of New Orleans asked peole to evauate in two ways:

1. Leave the city and go west to at least Baton Rouge.

or

2. If they could not leave because they had not car, etc. - they were to go to the Superdome as it was built as an evacuation shelter.

If you had to chose option 2, you had two days to get to the Dome and many thousands did and they did so by public transportation and other means. My point is many thousands who were able to evacuate did not because of the inconvenience and I think those people could have gotten there but just did not want to. Thus, those people are not the forgotten that they were referring to. They were instead the obstinate and in a deadly way in many cases. In the end, I think that if the able bodied people had listened to the evacuation warnings and gone to the Superdome they would have been better off than being stranded in a 100+ degree attic waiting for a chopper or boat to rescue them at the cost of a sick or frail person who could not evacuate dying while waiting for the evacuation of the able bodied people.

I am not saying that the poor and sick were taken care of properly, they were not - and I think that is pathetic. My beef is with the able bodied people who chose to stay being heralded as innocents in all this. They were part of the problem.

Of course it presents a problem, but it presents an even bigger problem when no real evacuation plans are in place to get them out of town. Not to mention that the Superdome wasn't equipped to handle all of the people that were locked in there to begin with.

The Superdome was built to be a temporary shelter, which was how it was used  Many of the hotels were also used and most had little damage - though some had lots of it.

In the end, I think the city should forceably remove people from the city.

I can't think of any new ones to post. I suppose another gratuitous posting of Micahel Vartan is needed.

Bennifer Part Deux must've finally got to him.

I just read he's coming back to Alias for three episodes, so I'm doing a happy dance.
