redrockonline says:
ABSOLUTELY NO STILL OR VIDEO CAMERAS ALLOWED FOR THIS SHOW.
Stevie's not like this, and there are no other acts with this statement by their name. Could she be filming?
I think that would be possible, AND fantastic!!~Barbara

Try. Detroit was the same. I saw plenty of cameras. I help my cell phone camera up in plain view (tho all the pictures SUCKED big time).
Try.
You're going to RED ROCKS with 2nd row, baby. Try.
OH! And good luck and have fun!!!
On edit: I read your post too quickly. Didn't see the question. Detroit had the same warning, and she wasn't filming. But hopefully she is at Red Rocks - that would be very cool....

I think they say that for every show... But I sure hope you are right!
Hey, did you end up getting to go to this show?

I think it would be amazing...a double DVD special package...the entire original Red Rocks concerts, and a new one twenty years later, including special commentary, backstage interviews and documentaries by Sharon, Waddy, Mick (who will be there) and Stevie...oh yes, we can dream.

I've never been to a Stevie show (except w/ Don) that has said that. I checked all over the website and all the other acts allow cameras. Stevie is being stingy. And the radio is announcing a very very special guest. I guessing it is just Vanessa. :o

Every show has said no cameras! Just try and sneak one in. You know you want to. :)

Why do you think that the guest might actually be Don? What is weird is that they are playing End of the Innocence right now as bumper music as I type this. Of course I say bring it anyway.

Worse thing they can do to you is what they did to my friend and I in Hershey -- make us walk it back to the car. I say try it

They had signs everywhere at Nokia on the windows and doors saying no cameras, recorders or video. I took lots of photos and a few videos. Always take a camera no matter what they say....if you get caught, at least you tried.
They didn't check my purse and I had my camera in a black sock, in a zipped up lil bag at the bottom of my huge purse covered with crap.

Why do they even bother saying "No Cameras"? Every show I have been to says No cameras and then, even if I stand in front of a security guard, they could care less if I snap photos all night long!

Exactly. They searched bags Saturday night, but the woman next to me in the front row kept putting her camera down on the stage.

hmmm absolutely no cameras...
very very special guest (peter frampton?? maybe we're gonna relive RAL tour??)
Is this all just a beef up because stevie knows this is her mecca?
I'm telling ya Curtis, with the way that place is setup, cameras could be snapped in just like that...
My bet is going toward a DVD for this show

You all are very lucky!! Both shows I was at we got told to put the camera away :( I can only dream of going to a show and taking all the photos I want! :p

Don't feel too jealous. I'm such a dummy, I wasn't even taking any pictures! I thought I was getting all these great shots and then, come to find out, that you actually have to hoold the button down for a few seconds. So, I got no pictures and wasted all that time taking pictures of the twirls, etc.

l I heard that People Mag had a small blurb about RR being taped. I dismissed it outright because nobody has mentioned it and that would be huge news.
I think the no camara thing is pretty standard.
I went to a Dave Matthews Band Concert (who freely allows bootleggers even has links to bootleggers websites on thier official site.)
and there was signage everywhere about no cameras and so on.
I think its more of a venue thing then the artist.
In vegas for instance NO CAMERAS was on the ticket but there were camara everywhere and no one cared including Stevie

OH NO!! That stinks big time :( I guess I should be happy that I got a few at least........ When we were at the Detroit show there was a camera right on the stage--like an automatic looking thing--it was right in front of us practically--I'll have to see if we got it in any pix...... but I noticed it moving during Hotel California.... figured it was just "their" copy since they say they tape every show--but we can all dream can't we???? ;) And I didn't really notice it moving during any other songs--but my eyes were on Stevie of course!!
