How much weight do you think Stevie's lost?

Last year Stevie looked pretty heavy and now she looks really thin. Look at these photos side by side and it is pretty amazing. How much do you think she's lost? Like 25 pounds. She looks great now! I really think that she was at her heaviest weight ever last year. She was still beautiful though. But she just looks a lot thinner now.

I remember seeing that first picture and I was like "What the hell? That's too fat to be Stevie!" But, it was also the only one that I saw where she looked that bloated. Maybe the camera just cought her at a bad time? Who knows, but anyway, she has lost a lot of weight! She was still purdy in my eyes! :)

I saw the photos from the early shows before I saw her two feet away from me in Detroit... and I was shocked by how tiny she was. Especially compared to SYW shows from 2003-2004. The photos truly add a few pounds, I think. Though I never thought she looked anything but beautiful, she really looked svelte to me in Detroit. Toned. If she's 5-foot-1 (is that right?), I'd say she's about 110 pounds now. Max. But I also think the corset and all those flowing layers add a bit. It was only in the pants that she looked really tiny.

I would say Stevie is at least 130, possibly more. Remember that during the Street Angel era, she was 175 pounds, and she had only lost about 20 pounds when she was named one of People Mag's 50 most beautiful. So, in conclusion, no matter how much she weighs, she's still pretty hot! :D

I don't think she is that thin either. And I wouldn't want her to be because at her age, being that thin would make her look frail. She needs to have some meat on her bones. I think she is at a perfect weight right now. Maybe she could lose a couple more pounds, but that would be it.

Although I think she was more like 155/160 at some point during the SYW tour. Just for a brief instant and then she slowly started shedding the pounds and is about 140 now, like you said. I don't know! With all those layers, she could be 90 pounds for all I know.

I think Stevie is still very full figured right now, just at a healthier weight. I think it has been 20 years since you could call Stevie "skinny"... But that's a good thing.

Get outta my brain! I was thinking the exact same thing. I hope the reasons for her weight loss are healthy ones. I think they partially are. On the SYW tour, particularly the last leg, she had a ton of trouble with her vocal chords. She was on steriods for the swelling etc. That makes people bloated. The scarf , which Stevie uses to try and hide her problem area, only draws attention to her neck. There is no way she was at her heaviest last year. No way. Combine the steriods with menopause and you have some puffiness.

Stevie always seems to thin down when she is happy in her personal life, ie Dance/Enchanted, and that is what is most likely part of what is happening now. Maybe lots of sex?
I hope that is the reason and it is not something else.

Brian, I have the Inauguration on the Going Home Doc dvd...some backstage footage of it and the performance. If you want to trade that two dvd set for maybe the Hershey cds...I am willing and able. If you look closely, you can see how her dress fabric drapes over her hips...

I think I love you. Hehe, I have terrible issues with my weight and I can only imagine how much being in the public eye would magnify them. I think Stevie looks so amazing, and it is mostly because of what is pouring out from the inside. She really does seem happy, and I love seeing her this way so much. :tear: I think she looks to be about 130 lbs. I'm 150 but I am 5'6" and I don't think she is close to me in weight. Although with the corsets it is hard to tell. At any rate, she looks absolutely fantastic. She's curvy!

I agree that she was never really horribly obese and that she looked thinner than most remember in the SA tour, though she was far from the thin days she had experienced and would experience again.

I also think that the Clintin Inaug. was not so mugh weight gain because her waist was small as it was she looked swollen or bloated.

In the end, I have never thought she was was porcine though many take comfort and glee in pointing out that she was overweight at one time. Whatever :cool:

I agree. I've never even seen a bad Stree Angel photo, to tell you the truth. You know that book, Lady of the Stars or Rock's Mystical Lady? They include tons of photos from the Street Angel tour and she doesn't look that overweight at all.

I feel bad about bringing this whole subject up because I just wanted to say that I was proud that she looks so healthy and fit right now. I meant it as a compliment towards Stevie.

Oh my god, that's so weird! That's a picture I scanned for The Ledge about two years ago. I think I cut that pic out of the News Of The World magazine when I just still at school.

Anyway, it's from 1989 when Stevie played the Hard Rock Cafe in London, while she was over here on tour. :nod:

It's actually a wig. She had her normal blonde locks at the Wembley shows in 1989.

I believe it's from a private show at the Hard Rock in London. TOSOTM era. I am also pretty sure the hair's a wig.

She also wore it for the "Street Angel" against the wall outtakes...it is very very thick, which is one giveaway to spot a wig. Very few people have such full, thick hair all the way to the ends.

When I saw her in Charlotte this month, I thought she looked exceptionally beautiful, but I definitely would not call her "thin". I mean, she just looks normal to me. After hearing everyone saying how much weight she'd lost, I was expecting her to be ultra thin. Anyway, I'll just add to the sentiment that she looked very sexy and beautiful.

again.. i was there front row, so i know.. in fact i was even commenting with the person that i was with at the time that she "had lost a little bit of weight"... no, she was not at her heaviest during the "Street Angel" tour... she was at her heaviest a year before that... you gotta remember, 1993 was probably her lowest point ever.. she was still heavily taking klonopin and in very bad shape.. by the time she went on the "Street Angel" tour, she had gone to rehab, lost 20 lbs and started singing out on her performances again...

looking back, the SA tour was pretty kick-ass... at the time, yes she was heavier than she is now... but she was not at her heaviest during that tour...

and if you would like, i could send you a copy of both the "Whole Lotta Trouble" tour from 1991 and the "Street Angel" tour from 1994 so you can compare... :woohoo:

I feel bad about bringing this whole subject up because I just wanted to say that I was proud that she looks so healthy and fit right now. I meant it as a compliment towards Stevie.

I know. But we only talk about her like this because we love her. If anyone else does it they'll get their eyes scratched out by Stevie fans. Know what I mean. Family can dish about family but outsiders can't. Stevie knows she wasn't well and she knows most of us stuck by her no matter how she looked.

I dont shes doin atkins 100% because if she was very strict she would likely be smaller than that..Maybe shes doin the south beach diet, which is similar to Atkins, but u can have some breads, veggies and fruits...whatever it is she looks great and more healthy than she has looked in awhile...

you could always try low-carb pasta or low-carb bread ;)

or even better... "spelt" pasta... ever hear of it??? almost the same amount of carbs that regular pasta has but rich in protein, vitamins, and minerals... plus it digests slower than regular pasta, so it doesnt turn to fat when you eat it :nod:

A GREAT brand of lo-carb pasta is "Dreamfields". I always find it at Vons. I believe it's got a third of the carbs of regular pasta, and I swear I can't tell the difference.
I do South Beach and my girlfriend does Atkins and it works well for both of us.

i never for a second thought she'd color her hair THAT dark but i love the Timespace hair and thought that was more her real hair. However, I have very very thick blonde hair. i think Stevie's is very similar with or without her extensions so being able to tell whether or not she is wearing a wig is more difficult than it might ordinarily be.
