Ok.. some of you might be sick of all these survivor threads, but i'm not, so here's another one :woohoo:

I thought it might be fun to do one with all of Stevie's Non-LP songs, including her B-sides, soundtracks, and imports.... so here they are in no particular order:

"Mirror Mirror" was a RAL outtake (it was almost the title of RAL, but was changed)... still unsure when the vocal was sung... 1985 or 1994? hmmm

I LOVE these Survivors, but Please do you have to do them all at once? Could you please consider waiting until after TISL Survivor is over to do this one? Plus there's the FM Stevie songs. 3 Survivors in one forum at the same time is too danmed much and it takes away from the individual Survivors.

THANK YOU. No Klonopin to be blamed here and I happen to love Mirror Mirror. Heh figures one of the few songs I like on this list will be voted out on the first few rounds.

I have a few versions & they all sound similar, with various degrees of nasal stuffiness.

I think it merits inclusion because:

-It's unique; no other versions exist. It's not a live version of a studio recording.
-It's not a demo.
-It was a legitimate official release, albeit, only to AT&T customers.

By the way, I think if you are including "Reconsider Me," then "It's Late" should be included. They are both considered to be studio outtakes. :wavey:

No. It's Late was not on any release other than Enchanted, and it is labeled as a demo.

The vocal is 1985, I am certain. I had the released version back in 1989 on a demo compilation cassette that I obtained through the Rolling Stones classifieds. Some guy in Jersey.... :shrug:

a) i vote off God's Garden because it's way to slow and i cried when i heard it (and not in that good, poignant way)

b) Reconsider Me was played on muzak back in the day, i used to work at Fashion Bug and always took a smoke break when it or IYEDB came on... therefore i think it should be included

c) brian, me and you are about to tangle homeboy. out of all the songs on that list you just had to vote Inspiration first... i thought we had something, i thought we shared something. first Everyday in the TISL thread, and now Inspiration? i'm so very sad... :distress:

I just listened to a few of 'em, and yeah, the music is similar. A bit more sparse, and toned down, but the same arrangement. The vocals are great too, with all the alternate and additional lyrics. I love the differing ending lyrics, especially "This will leave you haunted in your mirror!"
