Just wanted to see what everyone would think of a Stevie Nicks Acoustic Live CD/DVD...kind of like the old MTV Unplugged. Just acoustic guitars, maybe piano. More intimate than Storytellers. If you ever heard "Gypsy" from AHI benifit a few years ago with LB on guitar...it was AWESOME....anyone agree?

Yes, that would be great... Any live album released at this point would be fantastic.. Either a full on recorded concert... or a reworking of her solo and FM tunes but done accoustically - like storytellers.. but even more accoustic.

An accoustic Hotel California......that would be awesome even if it isn't her song......

i made my own a while ago, right after i got my hands on that AHI Gypsy performance. i was so blown away by the fabulocity i had to make a disc around that song. i think a lot of her work woul translate well to the 'unplugged' stage. ever hear neil young's 'like a hurricane' - i believe it's from Unplugged... startlingly fantastic.

so anyways, yes. i think someone should ring up the folks at mtv and get the ball rolling...

I agree....Neil Young Unplugged ROCKED...was awesome. I think that Stevie's songs done with very simple arrangements would be awesome....just raw vocals...can you imagine?

I would totally dig this accoustic CD thing. I also wish she'd do this live with a couple of songs every show. Not just unplugged, but with only accoustic piano and/or guitar for instrumentation. Like the way Landslide is done.

My preferred tracklist (not exactly in this order) would be:

Silver Springs
Beautiful Child
Bella Donna
Kind Of Woman
Gypsy
That's Alright
Beauty & The Beast
Has Anyone Ever Written....
Talk To Me
Affairs Of The Heart
Juliet
Destiny
Candlebright
Sleeping Angel
Planets Of The Universe
Illume

I'll have to think about this one a little bit. I don't know why they didn't continue to do Gypsy in the same acoustic manner from the AHI show. It wasn't like they didn't have enough guitarists on stage.

Agree...LB's guitar playing on acoustic Gypsy from AHI was mind blowing...can you imagine a whole set like that? Wow.
