nah... the way this tour has been planned, nothing would surprise me

In a way, I hope not because I want to see another show and I know there's people who have yet to see the concert and want to.

But on the other hand, I really want her get into the studio and start working on a new record! I want some new tunes to listen to.

Uh, I haven't heard anything about Stevie going back into the studio after this tour. I heard her talk about her Rhiannon project...didn't she describe it as her "spiritual destiny" right now?
Oh and yea, I think it is it for the tour dates. Who wouldnt want to get home to their new house?

That worries me a little. I just assume she will record a new album eventually though.

one would think.... but it doesnt seem that way.....

I just feel she should do a whole album of her demos... no new music, just the demos finalized and put into production on a new album.. she has too many unreleased gems out there... she needs to put these songs out already... before it never happens..

I think it will happen....but it will occur when she is long and gone. Horrible thought, I know, but a lot of stuff is released once an artist passes away. :distress:

Curtis, bite your tongue! I don't want to think about that! I just hope she comes out with a new album within a few years. I'm positive it will happen.

No more solo albums? I will be so upset if there isn't anything new released. Some more music with FM would be good, but I really want more of her solo songs.

Who wouldnt want to get home to their new house? Someone fill me in! She didn't sell her beautiful Arizona home, did she? :(

Ugh, and I don't want to ever think about a day when Stevie won't be around...no more talk about that. :distress:

No she's either buying the one she has always been renting in LA or she bought a new one.

I appeal to your mercy to finally understand where this information comes from. It seems half of the ledgies know everything about it and the other half (I'm one of them) have no clue. Just curious. :D

I hear ya. America, the land where all info is available.
But actually I have another question - Has Stevie/FM EVER been to Italy? I never hear about any Italian shows. Sheesh. If I was FM/Stevie, I'd be all over Italy.

Yes they came in 1990 for Behind The Mask Tour, and played in Vicenza, Milano and Rome. I didn't pay any attention to them at the time (yes, I know... brilliant  ). They should have come more often, especially for SYW tour. What's the problem with Italy? We're friendly and don't bite... well not usually.

Actually, biting is one of your best qualities!
BTM?! That's it? sheesh, they should always hit Italy when they do Europe...
perhaps the projected sales there aren't that great? You know, when their booking people are booking places, maybe there aren't so many fans in Italy?
It seems very mysterious, to me.
don't kick yourself, I saw the Enchanted tour, but was not yet up enough on Stevie's catalogue to enjoy it as I should've. *sigh*. I only knew the hits, then. :distress:

Yes, probably the sales were the problem, but they didn't even try promoting anything at least as far as I remember. Actually SYW got a huge amount of positive reviews from Italian critics, but to buy TISL I had to order on Amazon because it was already out of the catalogue here. .

And there's always England at one hour and a half flight time ... plus there are a lot of appealing discounts all the year for that air route. :D

would you guys stop with the talk of a new album. Fleetwood Mac is getting back together soon according to Stevie and hopefully THEY will make a new album. Her Fleetwood Mac songs lately have been much better then her solo work anyway. If she does anything she'll do that Rhiannon movie, and the soundtract will most likely cover the new album.

Stevie's had a house in Pacific Palisades for a long time. A large and very nice one. I haven't heard she's selling her home in Arizona or buying a new one in LA. Someone?

I guess thats another one of those things you US's think. THEMS like me, who are right of course ;) know that her SYW songs kick the crap out of mostly all the TISL songs. only TISL, Fall From Grace, Sorcerer and Bombay Saphires are as good as even the worst of her songs on SYW.

From your lips to God's ears, as they say.

And I don't care if it's solo or with Fleetwood Mac... even though I like her SYW songs a tad better then TISL, it makes no difference to me. Actually, I'd prefer if she went solo so we'd get more songs and a great solo tour...

     WHAT Smile At You is one of her best songs ever. I cant believe someone like you who loves all kinds of crap shes put out doesnt like that amazing song. And I love Docklands, but not as much as Smile at You. AOTH just sucks.

I love the song, but i think what was done to it for SYW was a disgrace.... that song was a ROCK song.. Lindsey turned it into some weird Tusk-like depressing slit your wrist ballad... not cool :distress:

yeah, we are.... it's morbidly depressing... my absolute least favorite song on SYW... i can't understand why on Earth a gem like "Not Make Believe" was left off of that, but "Smile At you" made the cut...

Well, different stroked for different folks, I guess. I agree NMB is amazing, but if it was going to replace anything, I'd want Silver Girl to get the boot.

As far as Smile At You goes, some of the lyrics are sad but the tempo still seems very high and fast paced to me and John's bass is incredible in this song. Stevie's vocals, like I said, are spot on and she hits all the high notes. My favorite lyric of the whole album is on this song...

"What you did not need was a woman who was stronger. You needed someone to depend on you. I could not be her, I did not want to. My first mistake was to smile at you."

Ahhh, amazing!

sorry... but it doesn't compare to the demo versions... That song needs a kickin' drumbeat and the words "flaming, flaming!!" need to be shouted out the end.. all of what made that demo version so great was completely sucked dry... i think most would agree that when they heard the SYW version, they were a bit disappointed.. i know i was..
