I can't believe it's taken us so long to go. I grew up as a huge Abba fan. I remember going to see Abba the movie when I was 7!

That's great, Pip. From what I hear, it's just about the funnest show ever done. It was in SF forever. So much ABBA, so much fun. :)

Pip, you are going to LOVE it!!! There is a definite high cheese factor off the top, but soon, you forget all about it, and just go with the groooove! You will be smiling the entire time - and singing along! Guaranteed. Have fun!

Congratulations, Pip! Sounds wonderful! I love Abba ~ I remember rushing down to our record store in 1979 as a kid, to buy a 45-record copy of 'Does Your Mother Know,' with my own money. It was my favourite Abba song! I recently bought a 'greatest hits' CD of their music, and I love all of their songs and listening to them...that is, when I can get it away from Rhiannon!

Oh you will love it.
I was actually lucky enough to get to the premieres of two openings...Vegas and New York. I got to meet them ( all but Agnetha, who showed up to Sweden early this year!). Those are the only two times I saw the play so I don't know how London sounds these days.

But it's a great play. It's fun and energetic. I didn't think -ABBA songs-but you do find yourself singing all the words if you do know ABBA music.

hey Pip, I'm sure you'll have a great time..I've not seen it but the kids went with their school as an end of year trip and LOVED it..this coming from 2 teens (you know how hard they are to please!) who had no idea who Abba were... and one of them is a Greenday fan..so it can't be half bad..enjoy  :blob1:

Janet... I'm so jealous that you got to meet Frida! We should be going to see the show on the 28th July which is 3 days after my birthday. A friend of my husband knows someone who is in the show and might be able to get us complimentary tickets. We're also going to head for Chiquitas on Leicester Sqaure for a yummy Mexican!
