According to the Artist Rider there will be "No Camera's, audio or
video recording equipment allowed into the venue."
That is the camera policy we will have to go with
Sorry
Got this email after I asked about cameras. BWAHAHAHAHA!!! Yeah, like I'm not taking my camera. Hopefully, there won't be Camera Nazis, but there always seems to be. Sigh....gotta be discreet.
BTW, when does the Edge rush happen exactly, so I can be ready. It'll be my first Edge rush.

Looks like it comes after Fall From Grace but I'm sure somebody else knows who has been to a show. I'm 6th row so don't know if I'll make the rush or not. Hopefully I will. Maybe you can sneak up sooner. Remember we were standing at the stage the whole show for FM so good luck!

Yup, the Edge rush is after Fall Frm Grace. And even though you are 6th row, there is still hope! I was 7th row last night and I got to shake both of her hands! lol Just make a mad dash the second FFG is over. Good luck!

how each venue interupts the camera policy per concert...It has always puzzled me.
Hey Christy, Didnt the KU concert at Nokia allow cameras?

The beginning of the rush depends on the venue too. They may let you go at the beginng of FFG. Just keep a lookout. I went to 2 shows in Vegas and one of them they let people up at the beginning of Edge, and the other they let people up during HSML. Good Luck!
And as far as cameras go, they have to say what they told you. Last year I went to a show that said the same thing, only to find them selling disposable cameras at the souvenier stand!

Yes, Keith always lets cameras in because of the calendar his fans make for St. Judes...it's all pictures taken by the fans. I submitted 2 of my pix, hopefully, they get chosen!!
Thanks all...I will make a mental note to rush after FFG...but I may just ask security what the plan is. We stood the entire time up front for the Keith show, but this is probably different.
JJ...I do remember...sigh...

Thanks! Hope you're right. It is a definite disadvantage being short and trying to shake her hand, but I'll give it a try.

Remember security sometimes doesn't even know what's going on until the rush. Then they have no choice LOL.

Unless she changed the setlist after Bristow, I believe "Landslide" follows FFG. I always time my Edgerush with the last "Well..."

Yet again, I rush during Bootylicious. Why wait? :)

I am trying to figure out why her rider is different for Nokia. Why would she have a different rider for this particular venue? I've seen her and Fleetwood Mac at three different places in the city in the past few years and nobody cared about cameras, as long as they weren't professional ones. Geez, even in Vegas, my friend took her camera and nobody cared.
I haven't heard people say they had a hard time getting in with a camera at other places. Didn't Stevie say before that they talk to security before each show and tell them that regular cameras are okay and the Edge stuff is okay?
The only reason I can think of for really saying no to cameras, is if they are filming. In that case, I would be thrilled. :]

Yeah, or the camera thing is just standard rider language, that isn't really enforced, and the Nokia people are taking it too seriously?

Well I finally did it. I had to break down and get scalper tickets. Oh, the pain of it all. BUT-I GOT 3RD ROW CENTER!! On the aisle and everything. Edge rush here I come like a runaway freight train!! My pain is eased by 3 things:
1. The greatness of the seats (the broker even threw in a VIP parking pass and 2 Club passes for "free"-no melting in the heat from a faraway parking spot!). :woohoo:
2. I hear tourbooks are finally in.
3. Estranged4life: YOU MADE MY DAY!! The pic in your sig just cracked me up big time.
I'm actually REALLY excited now that I have great seats. Hope to see some of you there. Good luck to others still seeking tickets! :blob2: :] :blob1:

In atlantic city, the edge rush was allowed at the end of Landslide.. At that concert, Landslide was directly before FFG. THe security guards may move their chairs back, and that is your cue to run!

Thanks for this info. I'll be sure and pay attention so I don't miss out, hopefully. Now, if I can just make it past security with my disposable cameras all will be right with the world! God, I'm already a nervous wreck now. I'm such a dweeb.
One question: Does anyone know if they give out bags/sacks when you buy merchandise? Or do I need to bring one just in case? Cuz I can't be holding a bunch of stuff while I try to hopefully get a handshake! I'd like to be able to shove everything in a bag and make Boyfriend hold it so I have both hands free.

Sweet. They had bags like that at the FM show last year. I just wanted to be sure. I usually just clutch everything tightly in my lap if I have regular crappy "sit down" seats (for other concerts, not SN or FM!). Many many years ago at a concert I stupidly left my merchandise behind me in my seat while I stood and sure enough, when the lights came on and I turned around everything was gone. Never made that dumb mistake again and am overly paranoid now, especially with everything so much more expensive these days. Thanks for the info. :)

Which concert did you get your tickets for...Dallas or Houston?

Dallas. Sorry so late to reply-we had a storm out here last night and I was off the computer until this afternoon. Just now saw your post. Unfortunately, I can only afford to see the one show. Looking forward to some Houston reviews, though!

I can see about the million flash bulbs going off during a two hour show would
drive me nuts . if you were in the first 5 rows without a flash you will have no problem with the security. I was in holmdel NJ at the Enchanted tour with an
Pentax semi pro with a 150mm zoom lens with no flash. I had no problem with security, one was standing right in front of me, and he said no problem also I was running a recorder at the same time. sometime they do check and sometime they dont really care what you do. like at Atlantic City this year they had no security at the door. Good luck

I'd be kicking myself if I didn't take a camera and everyone and their brother had one.
I am wondering about these Ticketfast tickets I am selling. They have my first and last name on them and I'm hoping they don't ask for ID with these because someone has bid on them on Ebay. I don't think they will, but ya never know. Also, should I scratch out my name?
Kelly
07-16-2005, 07:31 AM
Christy, do not scratch out your name. That could cause problems for the buyer. Ticketfast tickets are scanned the same way normal tickets are...very quickly. As long as they have not already been scanned, the buyer will have no problem. The ticket takers do not ask for ID.
In Hershey, they DID check for cameras and made us take ours back to the car. The rider thing is obviously something that is standard and is not different for Nokia. I guess Stevue usually just does not enforce the rider and does not mind her fans taking digital photos without the flash. It is the flash that bothers her most of the time.

My tickets are on Ebay and someone has bid, so YAY!! I'll at least get most of my money back on them minus the TM fees/tax and I knocked off another 10 bucks.
Okay, I won't scratch out my name, and I got my 4th row tickets today! They have our local classic rock station's name on them...hmm...
