i need your thoughts & prayers...PLEASE!!!~

i have had an awful week & i am hoping for some prayers, i have been praying like crazy, 1st my A/C broke & it has been averaging 96* here w/ 100% humidity, the A/C guy is on vaca & i am hoping he will return soon, 2nd i just found out my mrtgage co HASN'T been paying my real estate taxes <<<<< the big A-holes, but they said they are rectifying it, w/ a refinance & my pymt should drop, but thirdly but certainly not least my husbands & my life long friend went into the hospital monday complaining of a stomach ache, they couldn't find anything at 1st, so they decided to open him up & found his entire body was full of cancer, he was only 43~ if you are wondering why i am using the past tense, well 1 day after he went in to the hospital, he passed on tuesday night, this has been real rough, i have known him for 25 years, my husband has known him since they were 5, they played everyday together, went all thru school together & hung out still to this day~ i haven't ever had so many yukky & sad things happen at once before & i feel i am about to lose my mind, i have been crying all week~ please keep us in your thoughts & prayers, we could really use it right now~

My thoughts and prayers are definitely with you. First of all, no air co sucks. I live without it in my apartment and many times at my job. It makes me feel sick and tired so I can't imagine with that kind of heat, how horrible it must be. I live in NJ and since MOnday, it's been really hot, and today is a nice break at only 85 but 96, I wouldn't know what to do with myself. Just keep cool and I hope it gets fixed soon.

As for your husband's best friend, that's rough. There is nothing that can prepare you for that mentally. I hope you are coping.

You came to the right place, because we will ALL be praying for you and things WILL get better..!

Jill, that sounds horrendous. Your friend just felt a stomach ache, went to the hospital, & died the next day? My god, that's scary. Was it something like stomach cancer or pancreatic cancer? Truly horrific ...
