Bristow was fabulous last night and I picked up a gray hoodie sweatshirt from the merchandise booth at the end of the show. She sort of folded it up and that was that and I took it back to the hotel.
Anyway, once we got back to the hotel, I noticed the sleeve of the sweatshirt was all muddy (no biggie - can wash it out), but there's like a snag on the sleeve of the shirt. Like a run in a nylon, sort of. I'm not sure any tailor could sew this up properly without it being obvious.
Do you guys have any idea what to do? I called Nissan Pavilion a few times today and got voicemail, and finally left a message for someone there asking if they could get me the name of the vendor.
Am I out of luck here? I know a good tailor, but even he may not be able to fix this, and it's such a pretty sweatshirt! :(

That's a real shame :distress: I also purchased the same gray hoodie, very pretty indeed  Your best bet, if you don't get hold of the vendor, would be to ask someone who was going to a show to pick one up for you, you could send them the money or something.... i'm not sure if the vendor would even replace the hoodie or refund your money, but its still worth a try.

Thanks, Carei. I took it to my tailor today since I haven't heard back from anyone and he said he can stitch it from the inside. It may be a little noticeable, but it's sort of on the inner sleeve, so I guess it'll be alright.
I gave it to him dirty because I was afraid to wash it for fear of the tear getting worse, so hopefully the mud will come out when I get it back.
He's a great tailor - a little Italian man with a cool accent. He's like, "Someone trampled on thees!" Made me laugh.

ooooooh they're selling Stevie hoodies? right on!
What do they look like?
How much?
and do they have smaller sizes?
I swear it drives me insane when you go to a concert and see a totally spectacular shirt.. and it's the size of a friggin parachute.
oh yeah.... any tourbooks yet?
Ciao!

I'm glad you got everything figured out :) I'm sure the muddy stuff will come out too. I would have picked one up for you, but I'm not going to any more shows unless she comes back to the eastcoast again in late August or September..... don't worry about it though, just think of the rip as sort of a little battle scar ;)

:wavey: Hi! The hoodies are gray, with a small wild heart & pyramid on the front right side, says 2005, Stevie Nicks. The cities she was/is touring is on the back, they cost about $50-$55. I'm a very petite girl, so got a small, its a little big, but fits pretty good (I'm always cold, so I didn't mind much) They also have other shirts there that aren't circus tents.... I also got the black babydoll tee with the Bella Donna script & dove on it (that was $35) However, I kinda wish I got a Medium instead of a small, cause it stretches alot & sorta cracks the lettering :distress: so I'm a little afraid to wear it....

Nope, no tourbooks yet, and at this late date, I think Chris still hasn't got his act together and we won't be seeing any at all! I wanted to get a t-shirt @ Nissan, but the line was way too long and I wasn't missing Stevie for anything!

I don't ever wear hoodies, T-shirts or any of that stuff. I'm a Stevie fan - I want shawls and jewelry and pretty things! Why can't her people show some imagination when it comes to her merchandise, for goodness sake!!!!

'scuse the venting, but I so love it when artists show some "artistry" when it comes to their stuff.
I see people like Sarah McLachlan with her great CD's that have images or DVD-related stuff included; interview discs; some other artists include incense, or some other special touch to their work. It's always so disappointing to think she pays so little attention to this side of her craft. And her fans. Whenever I hear how much she "loves", "cares" for her fans, there's a little voice in my head that goes, "yeah, right... go shopping with our money, honey"...
