Ok, who else watches this show? Ten high schoolers, all brilliant and accomplished in their own way, from all different walks of life, competing against each other for a full ride scholarship to the college of their choice. It's on Monday nights, ABC, 7:00 p.m. central (8 eastern).

I? Am totally addicted, and watching the show gives me hope for our future. I really like Melissa and Scot (actually, I adore pretty much all of them), but I think overall I'm rooting for Milana because I am just so impressed with her. Already doing stem cell research and looking for a cure for cancer and she hasn't even graduated high school yet? And she's fluent in Russian and Spanish in addition to English. Go girl.

Ok, guess not! LOL It's a shame though because it really is a good show! When I first posted this, the second-to-last episode had just finished airing, so I figured there'd be people here who had just finished watching it, like me. But not a single person! Wow! Oh well.

That's weird, I just finished watching it, and was thinking about a thread, but I thought - "nah, it's not that trashy, probably no one watches it"
This is the first episode I've seen, though, unfortunately. I like it. And, I knew all the answers....except the seventh president. :p

I saw two of the earlier episodes but forgot about it since. It's not bad - not mean-spirited or anything - and the bottom line is that these are kids who need & have earned a right to the money. They're not some half-naked idiot backstabbers eating worms on a dare. (Hi, Marissa. :wavey: )

I haven't seen much TV this summer, but I did catch (only) the last episode of Fire Me, Please. I love the premise and a few parts were very funny. The idiot woman in the boutique trying to keep her hands warm in her boss's armpits was hilarious. I'm probably the only one who saw it.

Nope, my mother watches it -- you're not alone. I haven't seen it but I've seen (and like) Hells Kitchen -- the British version with the same chef is even more of a riot but I haven't seen it on recently.

I had no desire to watch it. Other than AI, I don't enjoy the mean ones. On Fire Me, Please, the objects of the humor are in on the joke, so I don't feel bad.

The British version isn't really mean (despite the fact that he's a bit of an ass) -- he goes to a restaurant that is essentially tanking and helps them get their act together. He's more blunt than mean.
