Ok guys so what happened to that adorable overbite Stevie used to have? I think the last time I saw it was in 1983? The thing is I'm wondering how she got rid of it. She obviously did not wear braces. Was it some kind of miracle dental procedure or did she wear a retainer perhaps? I had big overbite and had to wear braces for 4 years and headgear and the whole bit to get rid of my overbite. I also miss when she used to bit her lip. That was so cute :)

I think i know what your talking about. I think I saw her do that in 01 at the Mansfield show. Its probably just a bad habit from childhood but its still cool. :)

It looks like she's definitely had some dental work done. She no longer has those "fangs" either. (that's what I call them anyway)

The thing I appreciate about Stevie is her nose - especially from the side. SO frickin' cute!! :)

I have not noticed the overbite, but I love Stevie's fangs! My canine teeth jut out a little also. And as long as we are talking teeth, I have to show love for the cute little chip (barely visible) in her front tooth.

I never really noticed the overbite, but I do think she has had some dental work over the years...somethin's different. I also think the little biting the lip thing was cute! lol. She used to do that all the time! I haven't seen her do that in a while. I always think about Rhiannon Rosebud when someone mentions the biting the lip.

I can't believe more of you don't remember the overbite. She had it all the way through Tusk. MIrage? It was slightly there, but had diminished. By Belladonna, it was gone. Totally gone. Was there ever a time when she was out of the public eye for a period of a year or two? Maybe it was a retainer, if not. Anyway, the overbite was sexy and when she bit her lip with it, it was hot. I wish she hadn't *fixed* it. I guess maybe it made her self-conscious, but it made her look sexy and innocent at the same time. Does that make sense?

I don't understand how it could be kinda there for Mirage but totally gone for Bella Donna. Bella Donna came out before Mirage, and Stevie toured for Bella Donna before running back to the studio to make/finish Mirage, right?

Maybe just her mannerisms changed and not the actual structure of her face. This would be easier with profile shots and dental/facial x-rays, .

Maybe it wasn't there for Mirage. All I have is my Mirage DVD so I'll have to go back and look. I do know it was there for Tusk. For Belladonna, it was not there. No, her face definitely changed. She had a pretty big overbite. If you have the Rumours (Making Of) you can really see it there.

The one made in 1997? I didn't know one existed from before then.

I'm not home so I can't go look at what it is, but it's the old footage of the Rumours era.

It looks to me that she got them shaven down a bit to be more equal in size, and if you look at really early pics of her, her two front teeth, look almost as if they were curving outward, and she had the teeniest tiniest(sp?) gap. Now, her teeth are very straight and even. Maybe someone should ask Lori or Sharon...they'd prolly know. lol.

That's what I thought, too, if anything. If i'm reading what you said correctly - I think she may have gotten the two front ones shortened.

Me teeth are a bit like hers, and I had asked about getting the front ones a bit 'shaved' if you will, but the dentist said he couldn't do it without caps, because of the way I bite and grind, it would only cause more problems. She might have had them capped to look more flush. Now I just made myself sound like I've got chicklet teeth or something...they're just similar to what Stevie's looked like in the Rumours era.

Mine are a bit like that, too, but I love them. I wish they were longer...and more rabbity... They've gotten less so as I get older, so, yours will probably, too.
I wish I had big ol' giant teeth like Stevie, though. My teeth are small.

That picture really doesn't show me that she had an overbite though...It looks to me, that when her teeth would go together, their would be a little overbite but not some big thing like you're saying. Maybe I can't picture things too well though either..I don't know.

Yeah, I agree with Amber. Her front teeth sit slightly down over her bottom but not horribly so...not so much that I would ever take notice. I know mine are similar...and I have a bit of the fangs. Did she trim hers down?

I think she trimmed the fangs and the two front teeth...although I can't be too sure about the fangs, cause in the recent pic I posted...you can't really see all of her "fangs", but i'm guessing she did.

The girl barely smiles for pics nowadays. If she does, it's the cute closed mouth smile (R&RHOF pic). We need some recent Edge of Seventeen pics...she is always smiling in those.

Her teeth do look alot different from when she was younger.... I've always noticed the two front ones when her mouth is slightly open (see photo) I also have an overbite like hers, but will sadly have to get it fixed soon because my wisdom teeth are starting to push my other teeth around, and it will just make the front ones more crooked :( so I have to get Invisalign. Anyway, I kinda liked the overbite, its cute... I think slightly crooked teeth give you character :p Super straight teeth just makes me think of mainstream phoney Hollywood people :D

Here another good pic of her chompers

The overbite is most noticable to me in the footage where Stevie is talking about "Lindsey being in his kimono, John going to the beach, Mick going to a Renaissance fair, and Christine is getting confirmed in a Catholic church". She is smiling very candidly in this footage and the overbite is prominent.
Her lip biting is adorable. She still does it when she is nervous but it is nowhere near as obvious as it used to be.

Nope. I see it too. There's one pic in particular I'm thinking of that I can't seem to locate right now, it's from the 75-78 era (I think 75, actually.)

The only way you get dentures now is if all your teeth have rotted out. They do those caps now for most people who have money. She doesn't have dentures. Maybe those porcelain veneers or full caps, but not dentures.

Erase the image from your mind!

Image erased!....sorta. But I will lingerly hold onto those pretty set of chompers she has when she actually does manage to produce a smile. I think her teeth are still her originals...maybe some dental work but they look like hers still...and I admire that they're not that false bleached white you often see in other celebs. Or maybe they are, but it doesn't look that way to me. I don't know where I've been but I don't really remember too much of the lip biting thing, either. Still sounds adorable anyway you look at it. Sweet chompery Stevie!

I've seen one picture with the lip biting. It is very old, she was very young and her hair is kind of pulled back and she is wearing a sundress. I can't find it, but it does show it. I also saw it in the Beauty and the Beast video that somebody got from Vegas. Right before she sings, "My love is a man who's not been tamed", she bites her lip.

She is adorable.

I agree....57 year old "chompers" do wear down naturally over time.
