I thought that when they did that they just didn't show up at all. It hadn't occurred to me that they'd show up as guests. That would explain some of the extra guests.

Maybe some of the people who show up as guests are members who haven't bothered to log in yet. Sometimes I come here just to read the boards and not planning to post, so I don't bother logging in until I want to see a pic someone posted a link to, or until I see something I want to post about. :shrug:
