I can only deal with the media for so long before I need to distract myself. I was perusing through the member list & here are some names I noticed (I will definitely screw up spaces, symbols, caps/lowercase, etc, so sorry in advance.) Yours is good too, but you'll notice from my list I usually prefer names that aren't actually song titles.
I would DEFinitely keep it rather than changing it, it's better than Bleed2LoveHer. I don't think you can change it anyway, you'd have to start over & then nobody will know who you are & it will be mass confusion!

That's cool...when I joined this forum FOUR years ago (oh God I'm old)...it was the first thing that popped into mind. It's a very dark song and it applies to other areas of my life I suppose...=o

 Those are my two favorites.
sparky reminds me, at my last job we had access to update our personal information in the company online directory. they started with a generic password for everyone, 123 or something. some people didn't bother to change it so we would login as them and put in a "nickname" in that field. we put in "sparky" for our friend Ryan (God rest his soul). it was so funny. well, i guess maybe u had to be there.
ryan was a metal head and he was always smiling and everyone in our department loved him. he was not embarrassed to admit that his favorite music was metal, right down to the cheesiest stuff. he gave me copies of all his stuff and taught me how to rip CDs. his favorite band was van halen. he was killed in that RI fire at The Station. :(

Oh, cool. I wondered that. I've wanted to change mine but I didn't want to lose the post count/join date. Just checked the FAQ -- it says "You can alter any of the fields in your profile, except your username. Once you have registered your username, it becomes yours for life. In extreme circumstances, you may request that the administrator change your username, but he or she will require a very good reason to do so" though, so I guess maybe it's a pain in the neck for the admins to do. Oh well.
Of the ones mentioned I esp. love bluewhitefire (I didn't know there was someone here named that when I picked it for my domain name though), deadliestpoison, and oceancrashing, and I'm jealous someone got nightbird. Oh, and I would add reebokandlace to the list of funny ones

Oh, I didn't read all that. When I inquired if I could change, they were very nice about it.
Why did I just think of Tiffleuppagus? I'm so dorky (like Snuffleupagus, Big Bird's imaginary (but not really) elephant friend.
How did you know Tiffleuppagus was my first choice?! That's cool, I'll ask about it.

I really wish I would have chosen a different username. I was 13 when I joined, and I totally thought x's were cool. I <s>was</s> am so lame. That was around the time I got on livejournal, too. I had fakingiloveyous as my username, and I just got sick of it and changed it. Now it's sexy and U2 related. :D
I quite like the x's - makes it a bit more unique.
I guess I will forever be associated with all things porno due to my screen name.

My fav screen name is fastpussy. I love him...or her...Remember when it was fastpussy's birthday and I made a thread for her just because I thought it would be f*cking hilaroius to say "Happy Birthday fastpussy!"? I didn't know it was Thea, who also posts under the username thea. Then I felt so silly but I was just delirious at the time. And she explained how she had no idea what connotations fastpussy had, as Cat said.
Anyway, I'm really tired of my username. I was on a "Gate and Garden" kick when I made it and I wasn't thinking that maybe that song isn't the best song ever. I wish I'd made it more personal, something that really encompasses all of who I am. I would've gone with systolediastole, which I use for e-mail and other things, had I really been thinking.

And Gate and Garden- I always loved that song after you got rid of the whole first verse about the Gate and the Garden...sorry- but when I see your posts, I always picture you sitting in a garden with a gate-HA, silly maybe but true, and you are studying too!
About screen names:
I thought I was being rather clever with my name- being a "Sister of the Moon" and Stevie fan, and collector of moon items. I thought ~~eclipse~~ rather fit me and was appropriate. But I have been a menber for awhile and other names come to mind, but I guess I will remain

That's true. I kind of don't know what he is talking about.... Gay men have the same standard of beauty as women, huh? Like you have to be all thin and in shape.... :D
Thanks for the compliments! However, unfortunately I have gained a lot of weight and I am extremely out of shape (for me). I need to lose about 40 pounds right now and I really need to start exercising soon. I am starting to feel creaky. My problem is that the time that I have off from work and such is minimal and during that time I just want to relax. OY!!! I need to get my butt in action.....
SuzeQuze is something a friend at work called me and I liked the sound of it so I use it. I like the way the letters look too. But he said SoozQuooz and Ledgies in Vegas said they read it as Soozie Quoozie which is cuter, so I'll take it.
Just like Paula is "Skin", you are always "kootch" for me.
Using, "Heavy Persuasion" sounds cool at first- until you realize that everyone would start nicknaming you "Heavy".... no thanks!

^That is the downward slope this thread has taken! No, I didn't whip out Big Red, Jason, I used m-w.com. I love that site.
I think I have ADD or something cuz whenever I tried to look up words in the paper dictionary I would forget what the word was before I got to the page. Here's the scenario, "I gotta look up 'existential', so, no not 'D', almost there, oh, 'diatribe', so that's what that means, neat. WTF was I looking for again?"
I'll be there with the margs but no p word, I only say that ocassionally when someone is extremely spineless. I say the c word once in a blue moon when someone really deserves it. However, that is very rare because you've got be a super duper a-hole to win that award.
