These pics may not be the best examples to explain my point, but lately I have been seeing alot of physical similarities between our aging Stevie and the late Peggy Lee. Has anyone else noticed?

When Stevie kicks into "Fever", we'll know the transition is complete.

Oy, I got Peggy Lee and Peggy Lipton mixed up for a minute. Now there's someone who still looks smoking in their late fifties.
I kind of see the resemblance, yeah.

Peggy Lee had a plastic surgery-mannequin face and looked way more like a drag queen than Stevie ever could. No dissing her singing or career but jeez I refuse to accept the comparison.

I'd love to read Peggy Lipton's book! I ADORED her on Mod Squad - I wanted to grow up to be just like her!

I picked it up yesterday at Barnes and Noble, I'll let you know how it is when I read it. :) It's supposed to be juicy but also quite depressing, so who knows. I love her, though.

Oh, yeah. Absolutely. Especially when she has the big assed sunglasses on in Destiny Rules. If she cut her hair in a bob, and wore those glasses, spitting image. I have thought this for the last few years.

Nuh-uh! Her face isn't pulled tight into a shiny mask - she actually has lines, thank goodness. The shape of the jaw and eyes are similar, but that's about it, at least IMO.
Please perish the thought of her cutting that mane of hers off! And I need to say this - her bangs have got to stay too. If she goes long and straight again with no bangs, she just elongates her face. I have a long face and tried the no-bangs look, and it didn't work at all.

I don't know, but she did cover (or do) "He's a Tramp" in Disney's "Lady and the Tramp" movie!

Okay, no offense to this Peggy lady but Stevie is beautfiul. She was on People's 50 most beautiful list a few years ago, she was on the countdown of Sexiest female rockers on VH1, she is just a stunning natural beauty. I am offended that anyone would suggest these two people could even be in the same gene pool! Stevie is hot, hot, hot!!! That other lady is scary looking (and has horrible hair to boot).

Well, back in 1993, I thought she was morphing into Mary Travers.

I thought the same thing! To this day whenever I see a pic of or performance by Mary I think of Stevie with that damned taped tamborene, Jacko at her arm.

Actually, I look at that pic and I think more along the lines of Sally Struthers. LOL I think Stevie looks so much better now. The big hair and shoulder pads *had* to go. Oh, and I agree with everyone that Peggy Lee in that pic looks like she's had a *lot* more work done than Stevie ever has! She looks like a drag queen, whereas Stevie looks more natural--and I don't think the features are that similar either.
