PBS SOUNDSTAGE UPDATE 06.27.2005

An official airdate for Lindsey Buckingham's PBS Soundstage appearance has not yet been locked. His Soundstage is finished and will air, however all airdates are subject to change at this point.

Please check back for an update as soon as an official airdate has been locked.

As far as Soundstage goes, so far management has not given final approval on any airdates so I wouldn't be surprised if they keep changing. The good news is that it will air this season.

To be completely legal and proper and fair, we must realize that it hasn't even been given an official air date yet and you're already acting like it's a proven fact that it will never be released on dvd. Or for that matter, aired in your area (i.e. the insisting on trading for it immediately after the first airing). But I've been known to illegally steal quality programming straight from the tube every now and then, so it's all good.


Did I ever say that I thought that it was never going to be released on a DVD? :shrug: I certainly hope that it is. :lol: It is supposed to be aired in my area in OCT. Who knows? I was just expressing the fact that I did not want to have to that long when it might be shown sooner in other areas. :rolleyes:

Hmm. I've been checking my affiliate's (WFYI in Indianapolis) website, and they have it listed for July 21st with a couple of repeats after that -- the 23rd (1 & 4AM) and the 26th (1AM).

I'd watch and take notes and report back, but I'll be at the Tom Petty show (with Kate! woo!) and we don't have a VCR anymore. :laugh: But if I remember to catch it, I'll be sure to report back if no one has seen it yet. :)

Ugh! They never e-mailed me back! Losers! But I'm so glad you told me. Now I know when to set the VCR!

I've heard from somewhere here on the Ledge....don't remember where....that the airdate here in Dallas on KERA is August 4, 2005 @ 10pm.
Even though VH1.com list the airdate as September 8, 2005 also @ 10pm.

they renewed the subscript to DER Magazine as here is the response i recd when asking for more specific date:

Lindsey Buckingham's Soundstage appearance is set to air during Soundstage Season 3! Soundstage season 3 begins airing on WTTW11 on June 30, 2005, and nationally anytime on or after that date. Be sure to check your local listings for details, or surf over to our online airdate guide at www.pbs.org/soundstage/airdate.htm for airdate information in your area.
At this time there is no way to know whether or not the program will be released on DVD. Keep checking www.shopwttw.com (click on Soundstage on the left, and then "view all items" for Soundstage merchandise) for details!
