View Full Version : No Good Tickets Available (Advice please!)

Is anyone else having this problem? I am not finding any good tickets for the Gold Dust shows. I want to go to both FL shows, but I haven't seen anything on ticketmaster but the lawn and nosebleed sections. The shows are on the 13th and 14th of July so it is getting down to the wire. What should I do? I really don't want to buy them from a broker or eBay if I can just wait for good seats to become available for face value on ticketmaster. So, all you people with great tickets, how did you get them? What is your secret?

...if I can just wait for good seats to become available for face value on ticketmaster.

That's exactly what you do! :D And it's no big secret...every time this question comes up, we ALL tell whoever is asking the same thing....

All the sa-ame, all the sa-ame.... :xoxo:

I asked the same thing in a different thread and got the same advice. Amber told me that I shouldn't stress out TOO much yet, as the show I'm attending is on July 9. Very stressful, indeed.

I was just curious...has anyone seen any of the good tickets being released a few days before the show like they were doing with the SYW shows? I haven't noticed any posts lately telling people that good seats were being released.

Here's a new thread on Charlotte tix:

And yes, the same thing's been happening on this tour, just like the SYW shows. Just like any concert....

Same as it ever was...

There was no release at all for Mansfield. I was the fool who waited at the box office all day. :distress: That was one of shows with Don and All Access might have already gotten the best tickets.

Okay, I am really starting to panic here! The shows are in two weeks and I don't have tickets for either of them!

Question- If I buy tickets just a few days before the show, how can I be sure that the tickets arrive on time?

Also, If I go to the box office the day of the show and hope tickets become available, then what happens if good tickets don't become available? Has anyone ever done this and ended up sitting on the lawn?

I am just freaking out here! I miss the good old days of the Fleetwood Mac fanclub tickets!

You are going to be fine. Good tickets will pop up; they have for every show this tour and there's nothing to indicate that your situation will be any different.

It's too early to expect the very good seats to get released.

And to answer your question, if you order tickets a few days before the event, you'll pick them up at will-call. Or I guess you can print them from your computer now; I've never done that.

That close to the show you will have the option of selecting will call for delivery options. Choose that. It's free and they have your tickets at the venue. Just make sure to bring a photo id and the credit card used to purchase tickets.

Okay, thanks! You've calmed me down a little. My only problem is that I am spending the weekend at someone's house from July 8-10, so I will have limited access to a computer. I mean, it would be pretty rude to just sit at the computer all day. So, my fear is that I will miss the boat since I will not be checking ticketmaster like a madman that weekend. Or should good seats pop up before or after that weekend? Sorry I sound like a crazy person but I took everyone's advice and played the waiting game and now I've given myself a ulcer over this situation! LOL

Okay cool. I really didn't want to print the tickets out because I like to save them. That way, when I ask the question, "where did all my money go?" I can just look at all the tickets!

Hahah...I tried to avoid an ulcer by getting my @ss pounded by a ticket broker. Well, I got good seats, but now I have an ulcer because there's no money left in my bank account. Damned if ya do, damned if ya don't.

You could always call Sticketbastard and drive one of their customer service reps insane! LOL

Keep the faith!! You did notice that Josh got 4th row in the pit at 1 PM on the day of the show, right? :wavey:

I got mine from Ticket Connection in Houston because I was too impatient and scared to wait. There is a listing on ebay for four seats, I think, Right Row F maybe, for the Woodlands. :)

Now the Florida shows are like a week away and still no good seats on ticketmaster! Just nosebleed and lawn seats. I am officially screwed!!!

Somebody help! There aren't even any good Tampa seats available from the brokers... which is strange.

No - you're really not. The comp and broker tickets don't get returned til the day of or the day before. If there weren't good tickets last week, there won't be today. Hang in... you gotta wait a little longer.

Or, buy from a broker now.

I believe they let you keep the tickets after they scan them with the barcode reader. I don't remember what I did with mine though!

Even so, you could always just print out another one! I still have the PDF in my inbox from the Mansfield show.

I'm a nutjob too. My concert (heh) is this freaking Saturday and I still have no ticket! I think I may just have to wait until the day of and hope for the best. I was told that they release excellent seats like, an hour before the show to make scalpers less appealing. We'll see. I could always sleep with a security guard if I had to.)

Many "nut jobs" end up buying two sets of tickets, an insurance ticket just in case nothing else turns up at the last minute. Many fans won't take a chance on NOT getting in at all, but I don't think that will be a problem. I don't know of any show that has sold out for certain. Its HOT in Florida; I dont' see it selling out there! Buying two sets of tickets isn't necessarily fiscally responsible, but that's why some of us are nut jobs. :blob2:

I was able to do that like 3 times on SYW, get front row at the last second, I think it was in San Diego, Green Bay, and Scranton, but otherwise, I havent head anything good come up either. :(

I will have no problem selling them at the show but wanted to give everyone here the first shot. SEC 2 a set in Row C and another in ROw D (selling one of them at Face value + ticketmaster charges $170.00) No time for e-bay so My friends loss is your gain

dont' know if this helps but i had pretty suckey seats for stevie and don and just before the show my gf"s bf got a local paper and their was a article about how prime tickets are released the day of the concerts (you all prolly know this ,but i was unaware ) many are reserved during rehearsals and credit card holders and people with season tics , anyway not all venuse do this but most do from what i understand , so i went to the concert dealing with the hand i had been dealt , the seats weren't all that bad but the people around me ohhhh noooooo stevie came out to join don for hotel cali. and no one even stood up or applaused !!!!!!!! so my friend went to box office and came back with 5th row tics !!!!!!!!! i got upstage for edge of 17 and got to shake her hand ! it was of course my best concert ever so.......... its' risky but sometimes if you'r lucky it pays to wait ! :] :] :] .............bright blessings to all ledgies !

Just last week, which would be two weeks before the show in Dallas, the middle section of the floor opened up and we were pulling 3rd and 4th row seats for about an hour or two.

I go up to the last minute too and always remember to check with the box office about two hours before a show.

Good luck to everyone needing a great ticket!

WOW! Wish I had known that. All I keep pulling up is crap. I'm just gonna end up having to take it up the ass from a broker. It's stupid for me to think otherwise. The Dallas show is a week away and I still don't have tickets yet! :distress:

I keep checking many times a day and nothing good is coming up. I have Section 207 tickets, but would like to be up front since I'll probably not see Miss Stevie solo but this once.

I pulled up 7th row last week and wish I'd waited to buy, because now I'm stuck with these lower balcony tickets (not horrible seats, but I'd love to shake Stevie's hand).

Yeah, it kinda feels like all the good ticket luck is just for other people, doesn't it? WAH!! I'm totally feeling sorry for myself over this today. There's still a little time left, so maybe our luck will change somehow. Keep trying and good luck! :o

Thanks for the good wishes! If we both happen to get great tickets up front (PLEASE GOD) we can try to ward off the Drunky McDrunks and Smoky McSmokes. Remember the Dallas '04 show with all the kooks upfront? I'd like to think this show will have a better crowd, but experience tells me otherwise. People at other shows had their LB autographs ruined by drunks. Thank God that didn't happen to us! Otherwise I wouldn't have to worry about tickets right now cuz I'd probably still be in prison. ;)

How could I forget the Drunky McDrunks and Smoky McSmokes! It would be nice to be up front and not deal with stupid people, but sigh....:distress: Even at the Keith Urban show last year, there was a horrible fight. Sheebus, people, BEHAVE!

It's a deal with the double teaming....keep the psychos away from Stevie AND us.

Okay people my show is four days away. I have no tickets. I have been checking ticketmaster daily, hourly, and sometimes every few minutes.... and nothing!!!

I am freaked! I pulled up 12th row before but threw the tickets back. Maybe that was a big mistake. Should I just buy from a broker at this point?
