about: Soundstage: (#1204) Lindsey Buckingham With Special Guest Stevie Nicks

Hailing from Fleetwood Mac, one of America’s most renowned and successful bands, Lindsey Buckingham embarked on a productive and storied solo career that continues to evolve 18 years after his departure from the band. In this SOUNDSTAGE appearance, Buckingham’s performance spans the various eras of his career. Whether performing hits "Red Rover" and "Peacekeeper" or 1981’s Law and Order single "Trouble" and the title song from Go Insane, Buckingham seamlessly ties the decades together with reverent detail. As a bonus, the alluring Stevie Nicks joins Buckingham during the set, providing an intimate view of the chemistry that once propelled their former band to the top of the charts. Though their once tumultuous relationship was a topic that reached near-epic proportions, this reunion eclipses the controversy, placing all emotion back into the songs that defined them. It's the fastest way for us to get it, for sure.

If some people don't have burning DVD drives, I'm sure something can be arranged for them too. ;)

OK, I posted this in the Stevie forum too, but here it is again. Any help is appreciated:

I don't know if they automatically release every episode on DVD, I heard it's up to the artist? Anyone know for sure?

Anyhoo - if anyone wants to do me a favor, please email my PBS station & ask when it will air/say you can't wait/whatever. Seems like I'm the only one who ever emails them about Soundstage & if they here from me & nobody else again, I can just FEEL their eyes rolling as they ignore my request.

So: Hawkeye, Drummerdeanna, anyone remotely close to Buffalo (or not - how the hell would they know, lol) please send an email to:

[email protected]

Thanks!

It's about time! :blob2: Hopefully PBS in my area airs it, and hopefully ticket scalpers know more about tours than me. ;)

[Johnny Stew]

former band??

Did I miss something in the past few months?I wouldn't read anything into phrases like that from the media. Just months after 'The Dance,' I read a little comment from Stevie in some newspaper, in regards to the music scene, and they attributed the quote to "Stevie Nicks, formerly of Fleetwood Mac."
