Yes, I have this one. It's actually the SECOND one I had, because an ex of mine with destructive tendencies tore my first one to bits.

Here are some other things I have.

Yeah..Our old house had a huge basement/cellar. I had a lot of things down there. Numerous t-shirts and sweatshirts, posters, mags, I even had a scarf from TOSOTM tour. Other bits too. Everything was ruined and it broke my heart to have to throw it all away. It was a while ago now.. probably around 97 I think. Luckily I hadn't discovered ebay at that time ! It could have been a lot worse i guess! LOL!

That really sucks Pip :( I think I would have cried.
But it sounds like you managed to save a few things at least.

Here are the British import 12" singles for Talk to Me and I Can't Wait. I used to have these, but unfortunately had to sell. I always thought they were interesting, because they show the original cover photo, before her dress was airbrushed and evened out for the LP cover. (Also notice the silhouette graphic on the TTM cover is taken from same photo).

I snagged these photos and info from: http://www.musicstack.com If we're going for completion, this would undoubtedly be a great resource to get pix, label info, track listing, release dates, etc... I don't guess it really matters where we get the info, as long as it's correct. :D

Unfortunately, the back sides of the singles weren't shown. As I recall, the TTM was just the purple fabric graphic with a tracklisting. And, I simply don't remember about ICW... :sorry:

STEVIE NICKS I Cant Wait (Original 1985 UK 3-track 12" features Extended Version and 7" Mix plus Rock A Little picture sleeve - 12R6110).
Label: Parlophone 12R6110
Release Country: UK
Release Date: 1985

(Nixxxed edit: The version of Rock a Little on this 12" is the original/extra lyric version, not the album version. And the mixes are the "Rock Mix" and "Rock Mix edit")

STEVIE NICKS Talk To Me (1986 UK original 3-track 12" includes One More Big Time Rock And Roll Star and Imperial Hotel picture sleeve - 12R6124).
Label: Parlophone 12R6124
Release Country: UK
Release Date: 1985

I bought my UK 12" of Talk To Me last year I think, maybe a bit earlier. I'm really happy to have it, and hope to complete my collection of Stevie's UK 12" singles soon. I've also got one of Has Anyone Ever Written Anything For You, which should be in the picture I posted. It looks just like the US 45 release.

Oh, those are 12" singles in the pic you posted? I guess so if that's a postcard on top of TTM ... duh!

I've never seen that TTM 12" -- is that a promo, and US or UK?

Cool!

That's the UK 12" of TTM.
I have all the UK 12" releases from Stand Back to I Can't Wait (Timespace release).
I wish I had the European 12" versions of Sometimes It's A Bitch and Two Kinds Of Love though.

I'm working on getting that Timespace release of I Can't Wait. It comes with glossy photos...? What are they? I've got the 12" Long Way To Go also, and trying to get Rooms On Fire.

Speaking of which....I never knew until recently that Imperial Hotel was released in the US on a 12" format. No picture sleeve, but....even though I can't decide whether to buy it or not, I guess I'll post a link to the auction. Maybe someone else here will be a bit more spontaneous than I.

LWTG - Regular: Cat. No.: 12EM97
ROF - Poster Version: Cat No.: 12EMP90

Okay Jill, How do you keep all this stuff organized? (I hate knowing I have something and not finding it.) especially Photos. I have scans in my computer all over the place (Stevie 112, Stevie 1234) I just don't know them well enough to label them correctly. Stevie1984NewJerseyApril12th would be great, but I don't know them that well. Just too many photos out there.

I just don't know the photos that well. Even with all the other "crap..err...items" I collected over the years, I still can't get a grip on photo eras without alot of figuring out.

Yeah, that's the one I have! I like the photos that are in the 'gate'. Of course, I love all of those fairy-tale-princess OSOTM photos, and Stevie's handtinted stuff has always been my favorite overall, where pictures are concerned.

Don't know if this really counts: I bought the plain ol' I Can't Wait single (US issue w/pic sleeve) at a record store when it first came out. Went home, put it on the turntable....and out comes a Julian Lennon song! His 45 with Stevie's label on it! I kept it and went back the next day to get another one. This time everything was like it should be. For 20 years now, I've found this incredibly odd and wondered if I got the only one (doubtful) or if there was a whole batch of them. The only difference between the two in appearance is a different catalogue # in the runoff on the wax itself. Anyone know how something like this might happen??

First pic is actually from OSM era. There are other pics from the same shoot on other OSM era items. Second pic is definitely Tango. Love 'em both!

Gee that wouldn't be massively collectible now. LOL. Crap with vinyl happened all the time. I recall that my mother went thru about 18 copies of the American Gigolo soundtrack before giving up. It was like that whole particular printing was done askew. I've never heard of this Stevie Nicks/Lennon thing, so maybe it had been caught by the manufacturers, but a few had gotten out. Maybe one box. The fact that you still have that makes it more a "vinyl" collectors rarity than the artist. Like misprinted pennies to coin collectors. I'd def. count that as a collectible though. And a cool one at that! :blob2:
