RIP Brittany Jones

Just a couple nights ago a friend of mine, well i didnt know her that well, but she was shot in the head by her 15 year old brother in McDonough, GA. I was jsut posting to ask to pray for her family on their loss; it would be dearly appreciated.

GBI Investigates Henry County Girl's Death

The Georgia Bureau of Investigations has taken over the investigation into the death of 14-year-old Brittany Jones. She was at her McDonough home Tuesday when her 15-year-old brother Kevin came in--a gun went off-and Brittany was hit in the back of the head. She was declared brain dead and died early Wednesday morning. Kevin told police he was walking into his house with what he thought was an unloaded .38 caliber pistol-but he says the gun accidentally went off and he blacked out. He says when he awoke, Brittany was on the bedroom floor with blood streaming from the back of her head. Kevin is no stranger to trouble with the law-he's been expelled from his middle school and is on probation for felony burglary. He has yet to tell police where he got the gun. His mom could be charged if she owned the gun and failed to properly secure it.
