ok, well, not like that... ;)
but there i am tonight in Mansfield at the end of the stage... and she starts her walk around during "edge", touching and greeting the fans... when, she finally makes it up to me... she grabs my right hand and holds it for like 5 seconds, then lets go of it... then she grabs my left hand and holds it for another 5 seconds... and while that's going on, i start rubbing her forearm ever so gently with my right hand... then when she lets go of my left hand, i touch her other arm (i really wanted to give her a hug, but anway).... at that point, i felt i was being a bit greedy with all this touching, so i backed off... but to be able to just "feel" her for more than just a second was unbelievable... she's such a beautiful woman.. god, i love her... :nod:

It struck me last night how beloved Stevie is. You know, for the encore there was only one song for her while there is usually two. So when the lights came up there was this huge, collective "AWWW". It was pretty wild. The cheers she gets when she comes out, or when she does a little twirl are huge. This was all especially apparent juxtaposed with Don's subdued fans. While everyone was up for Stevie, people were in their seats for Don. Part of this may be because his songs are often so mellow. And the other part is he just doesn't rock like our Stevie, who does? :D

But no really that's so awesome! She grabbed both of my hands in Vegas and kissed my thumb! I know that feeling, there's nothing like it. I was frozen for like 5 minutes.

I haven't touched Miss Stevie, but I've felt up Lindsey. :D I touched his thigh in England when I couldn't reach the guitar. LOL

Actually Christy, there is a story that I heard last year. During GYOW a fan was being being pushed from the stage rush. The fan was pushed right into Lindsey's tusk. :eek: :o I heard that Lindsey was apologizing to the lady. :shrug:

I was being crushed in a sea of people, and I couldn't reach the guitar, and his leg was right there...so I just fondled it a bit. :laugh:

It can get VERY scary when you have so many people up front, and people get excited, they don't meant to hurt anyone, they just wanna get closer, but people have been killed. I pray that never happens. :(

Hooboy....I am hep to your jive......this quote makes me feel somewhat better. Sometimes I feel like I am entirely too attracted to her. I feel isolated with this on occasions, as if I alone feel as strongly as I do. In fact, I have described myself as someone that simply lacks the time, money and lack of self-consciousness to make a good stalker. Otherwise, well....... I also hope that there isn't sufficiant psychopathology to truly commit myself to the stalking arts.

that's really cool...I remember when I was lucky enough to shake her hand during the SYW tour...I was one of two in Greenville, SC that was very very lucky to do so...I remember the way she walked over to me and the way her hand felt and at that moment I could have died...it was truly a moment I hope I never forget
