Okay, so I nerded off for a while designing something that I think would work for The Gold Dust Tour. I used the same "logo" I used for the other thingy I did but added a gold glow around it and placed my favorite Stevie photo on a lace background that I colourized. What do you guys think? :shrug:

I love the font you used for Stevie's name. Very nice!

Thanks! It took forever to find the perfect fonts. I'm particularly proud of how I managed to nestle the words Dust and Tour around little twirl thingy at the bottom of the N. Yes, we graphic designers get tremendous pleasure out of these nerdy little details!

Well, you did a great job. I would like to see some graphics that use the picture of Stevie surrounded in golden light. She has on a brownish kind of jacket and the picture is from an angle...it kind of looks like she surrounded by spider webs. Talk about Gold Dust! :) I'll have to see if I can find it...I know it's on Sara's site.

Okay, I'm still playing with it. Added a few bits and made the "logo" bigger.

Cool - I love that one. It reminds me a little of the of 1924 photo of Gloria Swanson by Edward Steichen, which is one of my fav.'s ever:

That is WAY better lace than what I used! Mine is just some crappy stock photo.

That copy of that pic is a little dark and small. The real one is lighter and really shows off her ice water blue eyes. Swanson was barely five ffet tall, but her proportions were just right for them to use the camera to make her look any size they wanted.

Also, your graphics are way cool!
