just want to add that stevie is friggin' HOT and sounded AWESOME!!!!!
She is sooooooooooooooooo thin! I can not get over her legs. Looks great in pants! She was very energetic and smiled a lot. she sounded wonderful on all don's songs. the crowd loved her. when she walked out during hotel california everybody went beserk. i know that don's fans are happy he sang the song genie but i think he should have opened up with something better to ge the crowd standing. people cheered when he walked out...stood...heard the song and sat down...
i think there were a lot more stevie fans then don fans. beauty and the beast was amazing. she got very emotional and so did i  looked like she started to cry at one point.
she did great band intros. called sharon the teacher. said carlos stuck by her for a long time etc. i have to say i think it's messed up don doesnt introduce his band. i felt bad for them  how hard is it to introduce them.
i ended up buying two shirt, a teddy bear, and a key chain. they gave out 4 silver pens that said don on one and stevie on the other one with the vip tickets. i was happy with the vip tickets. got 10th row center. some shirts say gold dust tour 2005 and on the back they have the don dates on it too.
security was tight. get shining lights in peoples faces when they were caught taking a pic. some people actually got cameras taken away.
no desperado tonight either. looked like they were gonna play it but didn't.
don was playful with stevie though. when she handed him her lace he took it and was yankin' it and pretending to take it offf her and the crowd went wild.
okay i will stop rambling now. will add more later if i remember anything.

Cool! Thanks for the info. I don't like Don that much, but I feel bad they people didn't even stand for his first song... Also, I'm glad there is a lot of merchandise available for this tour because the one shirt available in Vegas was not that great! LOL

By the way, I PMed you!

Are there any pics of the shirts?? I also have a question about the VIP tickets. I want to go to the cali shows and the reno with a friend of mine. Am I able to purchase 2 tickets at the same time...2/5star packages, and will the seats be together do you think???

Danielle, glad that you got good seats and had a great time. I am very confused about the cameras however. I thought Stevie allowed them. I guess this must be DON's idea. I am taking mine with me anyway. That is of course if I get a good seat. I will just hide it when he comes on. Why does he have to be such a party pooper? If there is no flash used I can't see a problem.

Yes although, in some aspects they are not so good...they take away seats from fans....I would prefer if she was gonna do that, to do a Fan club VIP thing...Atleast in the F-Mac fan club you pay for first 20 rows, you only pay face value

Not for the platinum package. I think that they should just do away with the VIP and fan club tickets. Just make it easy on all of us and wait till the last minute for those face value releases. I really think that we would be better off within are own little fan network to look out for each other and grab a great ticket on TM for one another. I really think that the face value amounts are too much $ in the first place.

I really think it depends on the venue.... I saw FM 3 times on the SYW tour here in Michigan and we got caught every time taking pix.... They didn't take the camera but we had to sneak pix the entire night...... They actually grabbed a friend by the arm and yelled at her at the last FM show and said NO MORE PICTURES!!! She didn't try after that!! We also got the "look" and a shaking head "NO" from a security guy (maybe Stevie's guy??) lurking in the shadows ON THE STAGE!! So I've never been to a show where we could take pix freely..... I was hoping the Stevie shows would be different--sounds like maybe not :(

The only venue that I had a real problem (and I am sure that Alex can back me up on this) was Office Depot Center in Sunrise, FL. I had my 35mm point and shoot at that time. I was trying to use it and this one guard told me to put it away. I swear he watched me all fricken night. I was really going to say something really nasty to him after the show but I did not. I did not want bad karma.
I think that Fleetwood Mac and Stevie don't mind it as long as you don't use a flash and do not have a SLR camera.
Anyone going to the Office depot show you are warned!

Well we used both flash and no flash--so maybe that is why?? Some of our pix came out really really dark though..... maybe that is why they let the "no flashers" take away--maybe they think they won't turn out anyways!! ha ha Actually though I just think the flash gets their attention...... I've got a new camera this time around so wish me luck!! I'm expecting the camera nazis will be in full force again........

People by me were taking pictures all night long with only one person being asked to put her camera away. They saw me taking shots with my cell phone and had no problem with it - probably because they knew they would come out ****ty!

To comment about the show in general, I for one had a fabulous time. After hearing she would do Circle Dance and listening to it on Rhapsody and reading the lyrics, I literally cried throughout the song (must be noted I lost my beloved dad not all that long ago), it was just lovely. Beauty & the Beast, which has just not been a favorite of mine ever, was spectacular. The emotion that went into that song was amazing, I was absolutely riveted.

I loved Dirty Laundry, that song translates awesome in a concert setting!

One thing that was incredible to me was the amount of musical chairs people were playing in front of us (we were in sec. 104 - the side - 6th row). At one point there were like 15 people in the 2nd row that only held like 8 chairs. People were coming down the front from behind, hanging out during the concert for awhile, getting caught and thrown back, and just as quickly new ones would take their place. I've never seen anything like it.

Thanks for the review.

That's a shame. I can't believe security was taking cameras & not letting people take pictures. :distress: I didn't see any of that going on in Philly; they didn't even do a security search before the show. I saw quite a few people on the floor with camera phones taking pictures. Stevie even posed for pictures like four or five times during Edge. Why are some venues so uptight with regards to picture taking? It should be up to the artists not the venues concerning picture taking.

I am not sure if it has been mentioned somewhere in the threads from Philly but there were problems with Desperado on Friday night...perhaps that is why it got the ax. It was supposed to be totally accoustic..I hope it isnt always accoustic  ...that shows you how much I know about the Eagles/Don's music. Anyhoo, there were two guitar players. One had a regular accoustic guitar and the other guy had a small, almost fiddle looking thing..could have been a fiddle. Anyway the song starts and only the guy with the accoustic was working. Don was majorly pissed off and tossing some dirty looks to said "sound" guy. The poor fiddle/small guitar :p player had to just stand there, looking forlorn for a good minute, minute and a half as the other player had to try and compensate and do the entire song himself. I got the impression Don was very very unhappy with the entire incident but frankly, the song went over great with the audience. I loved it. (after getting over the shock of remembering Camille from AI butcher it last season.. :distress: )
I even thought to myself, "this song is gonna go". Which sucks cause it is gorgeous.
I am proud of Stevie that she did not drop anything. I have seen a few people list out the songs, the entire set and a few have not included "Enchanted". That was her third song, after OTR and Dreams. I am thrilled she kept everything, including CD. I never expected her to drop it because I think it is something that she really wanted to do...something she really wanted to "say".
