Tonight I've discovered to love Hotel California after years in which everytime I heard the first notes on the radio I simply changed station. To listening to Stevie's singing it with this intensity is incredible. And I didn't know New York Minute, it has truly beautiful lyrics, and as a Stevie/Don duet is moving and powerful. Circle Dance has been another great idea, she sings it with so much heart.
Stevie sounds to me in spectacular form too, and it's exciting to feel all the passion she's putting in these performances.

I hate when people "WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!" at inappropriate times...I always get stuck right next to the high-pitched, VERY loud whistlers, who make my eardrums bleed. And whenever someone around me yells, "I LOVE YOU, STEVIE," I tell them, "She knows." They usually laugh...and shut-up.

audience quips on a bootleg are the following:
"What is that? Are you taping the show? *CLICK* " (A Pink Floyd show from 1977, The taper was caught at the end of the show after the performance had ended...At least we know he was allowed to keep his tape.)
"Is she gonna sing We-annon?" (Some young tot on one of the SYW show bootlegs who was near the taper)
And my personal favorite:
Audience member-"When's the next Pink Floyd album?" (Yelled during a quiet between song portion of a acoustic performance by a hecklin' fan)
David Gilmour-"Who give's a f**k" (Shutting the hecklin' fan up  )

Oh man, Hotel California has got to be the greatest thing I've heard ever! I've always enjoyed the song as is (never a HUGE favorite but I like it) But hearing Stevie sing those lines was just orgasmic. My favorite thing was the way Stevie sang the word "Devise" But I really wanted her to do the Stealy knife part, its my favorite line in the song. What the hell is a stealy knife anyways. Stevie could've changed it to, "Stab it with you stealy knife but you just cant kill the beast, but is it really the beast or is it the BEAUTY"

Hopefully they will show up on the Mansfield boot this week.
Note to bootlegger: Find girls with red plastic cups that are probably wearing spaghetti strap shirts with their breasts hanging out....talking to a guy who could be Spanish or could have a lisp.

Am I the only sap almost in tears listening to some of these track? I adore Stevie and I love The Eagles almost as much. And to hear both Stevie and Don singing together on Hotel California and New York Minute (<3..) almost blew me away! Love, love, love Circle Dance!! I'm gutted I won't be getting to see any of these shows and I can't wait to have the complete boots. Wish I could get hold of them before next Monday so I could lay next to the pool on holiday and listen to them!

When she did Beautiful Child I bawled my eyes out. I get misty at other times but that one made me bawl. I thought B&B was going to make me cry but it didn't yet I was so incredibly moved. Ahh, to be back there.

I cried more on Sara than Beautiful Child on the SYW tour. It's just a song that was so classic live...and it was back for a quick summer...and now it's gone again. So sad.

for me, the crying factor of B&B was the notes she hit and how she NAILED them. BC made me cry more than once. Sara made me cry in Madison when she first sang it and then walked over to LB's mic. SHEEBUS!!!!!!!!!!!

"Hotel California "is a striking reminder of how chilling Stevie can be when she is not singing something by rote.No other woman could have pulled this one off the way she did ,after all she lived it too.Now if she could just carry that depth of performance over to an entire new album we'd really have something .

I gave Brian your e-mail addy, Daniel...thank you! :xoxo: My bandwidth is 85% gone, so I had to disable all tracks until July 1st. But the good news is...each of the 12 songs had been downloaded over 2,000 times each, which means there's a lot of fans out there enjoying the music.
Thanks again to Brian! :xoxo:

A note to let everyone know that I've re-posted the mp3's graciously provided to me by Brian W. (LiquidBlue5000), from both the 6.3.05 and 6.4.05 shows Stevie did with Don Henley. My bandwidth is almost gone, but I think there is enough to get us through to July 1st. :woohoo: Thanks again, Brian! :wavey:
