Well, tomorrow night is opening night in Philly... anyone have any predictions on...
how many duets will Stevie and Don do?
how long will Stevie's set be?
what song will end the show?
will "If Anyone Falls" be cut from the set?
what about "Beauty And The Beast"?
Will Stevie wear the boots at all? and if so, during which songs?
Will she do anything different from the Vegas shows?
Will she spin during Stand Back?
Will she hit the high note at the end of "Fall From Grace"?

I doubt it.. FFG has become a new staple in her set, much like INTK.. i think there's much more of a chance of HSML being dropped more so than FFG...

It's only been on one tour.....and a set of Vegas dates. She may start out with it, but drop it down the line.

Since the first time she did it 4 years ago, not a solo show has gone by where FFG wasn't played.. even during her benefit shows in late 2001 and early 2002, it was performed... she loves that song... it's here to stay, imo

I'd rather see FFG dropped than HSML. After she BSed her way out of that high note on FFG, I was so upset. She built it up then farted through the end.
She doesn't have many BD songs in her set to begin with, which i sstupid because most of the casual fans own BD and would recognize most of the songs on there if she did them live.

how many duets will Stevie and Don do? Two.
how long will Stevie's set be? An hour.
what song will end the show? Leather and Lace.
will "If Anyone Falls" be cut from the set? Most definitely.
what about "Beauty And The Beast"? Yup.
Will Stevie wear the boots at all? and if so, during which songs? Beats me. She seems to like being weighted down to the ground, so I expect the Reeblechs to return in full force.
Will she do anything different from the Vegas shows? Nope.
Will she spin during Stand Back? Probably.
Will she hit the high note at the end of "Fall From Grace"? Nope. And I doubt it will be played.

how many duets will Stevie and Don do? 2, Leather and Lace and either an Eagles song or a cover. I don't know why everyone thinks Highwayman will be in the set. Over half the audience will have no idea what they are singing.
how long will Stevie's set be? 1 hour.
what song will end the show? HAEWAFY
will "If Anyone Falls" be cut from the set? Yes, but will come back during the Gold Dust Tour
what about "Beauty And The Beast"? Yes and will not come back during Gold Dust Tour
Will Stevie wear the boots at all? No
Will she do anything different from the Vegas shows? Absolutely. She will cut a bunch of songs and will not have the massive smile.
Will she spin during Stand Back? Yes
Will she hit the high note at the end of "Fall From Grace"? No, but she will sing the song.

what about "Beauty And The Beast"?
Stevie was interviewed by a local radio staion when she was in Las Vegas and one of the djs was raving about HAEWAFY. Anyway, La Nicks said it would be back in the set this summer. So if she plays BatB, it probably won't be the closer, IMO.

Ugh!! I really do like HAEWAFY better than BATB--but I'm so tired of hearing it as the closer--I hope she does something different!!

****, I didn't realize the first show is tommorrow...
My predictions? The same set as Vegas, minus "How Still My Love", "Beauty And The Beast", "If Anyone Falls", and "Sorcerer" plus "Leather and Lace" and HAEWAFY and frankenboks all night long! Yeah, I'm cynical.

How many duets will Stevie and Don do? 2. L&L and The Highwayman. I also predict Stevie will sing backup on Hotel California and Witch Woman.
how long will Stevie's set be? 1 hour, or less
what song will end the show? Reconsider Me would be nice, but I predict The Highwayman
will "If Anyone Falls" be cut from the set? Yes.
what about "Beauty And The Beast"? Likely
Will Stevie wear the boots at all? and if so, during which songs? No boots...though she may want to remind Don that she still has some flair left in her.
Will she do anything different from the Vegas shows? The Highwayman, Leather & Lace, Has Anyone Written....
Will she spin during Stand Back? Doesn't she almost always? I personally hope, even though I'm not going to the Nicks/Henley shows, that she finally cuts Stand Back. Give it a break.
Will she hit the high note at the end of "Fall From Grace"?

I don't give a flying fig about her shoes! Who the hell is looking at her feet all night long anyways? If she is more comfortable doing her Standback twirls, etc. in sneakers, more power to her!
Need I remind everyone that she is pushing sixty!

I think she'll keep "If Anyone Falls" because the way she sings it now, it's not much of a challenge (i.e., she doesn't go for the high notes) and it's a familiar song that gets the crowd excited. :woohoo:
I fear "Beauty and the Beast" will be axed, because I don't think she'll feel comfortable exerting herself like that over the course of a whole tour. But I hope against hope it stays.
No way she'll hit the high note in "Fall from Grace" -- I don't think she did even once in Vegas, so no reason to think she will this summer either. :distress:
She'll spin during "Stand Back" most of the time, but may skip it on a couple dates when her hip is bothering her or she's in a bad mood.
"Leather & Lace" (definitely) and "Highwayman" (possibly) are in.

RE: brian's questions
they'll do three duets; L&L, one of his songs, and a cover

Dreams

Stand Back
Leather And Lace
If Anyone Falls

My prediction is close to yours, but I swear I will run through Golden Gate Park naked tomorrow if they do Highwayman.
Intro (it will be that destinys child mix, for a creative woman, Stevie is remarkably uncreative sometimes)
Enchanted--enter Stevie carrying a tamborine
"Welcome Everybody", (or maybe Welcome, Philadelphia), arms outstretched
Dreams
Stop draggin' My Heart Around
Rhiannon
Stand Back
Brings Henley on
Leather And Lace
Another duet, but not Highwayman or Reconsider Me
Don leaves
Gold Dust Woman
Band intros
Fall From Grace
Edge Of 17
------------
HAEWFY
**I think INTK will finally get dropped, but only for the shortened "Two Voices" set; will come back for "Gold Dust Tour", unfortunately. If Beauty and the Beast does come back this summer, it will be during Gold Dust, not the Henley shows.

Which night? I guess I've only heard the Tuesday and Saturday shows.
She sang the line, but not with much conviction. After the first night, her backup singers helped her out. I wonder if she asked them to sing along or if they naturally chime in when they know that she needs help.
