Paul Anka Rock Swings

[sara1998]

I heard some of this (http://www.vervemusicgroup.com/product.aspx?pid=11276&ob=bf&src=vmg) yesterday and was cracking up. Has anyone heard any of this? Nirvana's Smells Like Teen Spirit was especially funny to me!

I saw this on something, might have been ET. I couldn't believe it. He was singing Van Halen's classic song, Jump, as a big band song. :distress: It just doesn't work. Sorry Paul.

[all the same]

I've seen him on TV promoting the album. He said he wanted to find great songs that worked really well in the style. He didn't want to make a gimmick album. But from what I've heard of the album, it is so gimmicky it's ridiculous! I think it all sounds terrible! How embarrassing for Paul Anka!
