I didn't really like that show, but I guess his advanced age shows that farm living really is clean living....
R.I.P.

I liked him on Switch with Robert Wagner & Sharon Gless. That was a really good Private Eye/Cop show for its time (mid-70's).

I always loved Eddie Albert... he'll be missed.

On a side-note, a neighbor of mine just passed away, and was 92.
For all intents and purposes, he was completely healthy (only ever complained about a "few aches and pains" and wasn't even on any kind of medication) up until a couple months ago when he was diagnosed with terminal cancer.
That's how I want to go... live to a great old age, healthy the whole time, then go quickly.

Knowing my luck though, I'll probably die in some freak, fell-down-the-stairs kind of accident.

99! Wow, I guess he was right in his intro song about "Fresh Air" on the farm. RIP, Mr. Albert.

Okay folks, it's time for a sing-a-long...

Black Acres is the place to be
No living is the death for me
I just adore a dirt hole view
Darlin' I love you but give me Parked Avenue.

I used to watch Green Acres every day as a kid. Hello, TV junkie right here. Hooterville...tee hee! Yep, I'm a 12 year old boy.

Thanks for the entertainment, Mr. Albert. :)

LOL - well, I had drinks with Jerry Jeff Walker last night - ya know you are in trouble when one of the opening lines to his stories is "When Waylon, Willie, and I were on the road"
