#1. It sucked. It was nothing like the original, except for the characters. Ashanti can't act her way outta a paper bag. There were quite a bit of sexual induendos not suitable for children.

#2. It was released on DVD so it is in stores soon, if not already.

yep he is right, i tried 2 watch it w/ my son, & it reeked, i mean ashanti as dorothy?, i still don't get that 1, it was awful & that really dissappointed me, i love the muppets, but this show really blew :distress: ~

I only watched part of it. After the fourth or fifth time someone said they wanted to be "sexy" (in the first 20 minutes), I turned it off. Which is sad, because I really love the Muppets and Queen Latifah.

And don't most Muppet movies go to the theater first? I had low expectations when I realized this was debuting on TV.

I fell asleep during the second half but I admit that this was a stinker of a program and the Muppets could not save this one!
