say it isnt so...But it appears they recently covered a version of "Holiday Road" on the 20th anniversary edition of the "Vacation" soundtrack, To which only 20000 copies were pressed.

Has anyone heard it, And if so, How awful does it sound?

I don't think it is "Limp Bizkit"...I'm pretty sure its a band just called "Limp" (nowhere NEAR the same band). They've had a cover of "Holiday Road" in circulation for quite some time. Some folks on the P2P sites (like Kaaza & WinMx) have it mislabeled as being "Limp Bizkit" instead of "Limp"...hence the confusion. If Limp Bizkit really DID do a cover of "Holiday Road", I really would be surprised.

That makes sense actually.

Just for the record, I think Limp Dicksket, or whatever they're called, are hacks. Durst is a total no-talent sod

I actually kind of like some of LB's stuff, but I can see I'm in the minority. :sorry: Durst is a pig, though. I've heard some stories and they ain't pretty.

No and I might just add, it was hard enough seeing with the camera filming over his gut

Fred Durst is a walking genital wart.

Literally, word is. :( Well, I don't know that he actually has them, but he'll f*ck anything that moves.

In general, he's really not a pretty sight to see and he has the personality to match. :distress:

Thanks. No way that's Limp Bizkit. It was an OK cover, but not a patch on the original.

As I posted nearly two years ago (talk about resurrecting old, dead threads! GEEZ!), it is NOT "Limp Bizkit". It is a band named "Limp". The track is from their album Pop & Disorderly.

Here's the link to the album's page on Amazon.com:

I actually really enjoy Limp's cover of "Holiday Road" - it's very catchy and poppy and they jazz it up a bit. I think you can tell they really like the original song and wanted to do it justice and modernize it.

I agree. It's not a bad cover at all. I rather like it.

Does anyone remember the name of the band that covered Holiday Road punk/metal style? I liked that cover as well. Any band paying some sort of tribute to LB is fine with me. I assume they have respect for the man, so...

Personally,

I like what Matt Pond PA did with the song. It can't touch Lindsey's version but then again they didn't try to. It really is a nice tribute and the proper way to make a cover of a song.

It's available on itunes on Winter Songs.

Great Band, great album by the way:angel:
