She wanted to actually talk to them, but that wasn't working all that well! And I can't understand why she wanted to be close to them at all! :laugh: And the standing ovation? You're right--for what? It baffled me. It's like "Ooooh, you can dance just like a lot of other people, lip-sync, writing ****ty books (uh, co-write), act in ****ty movies, and make a fool of yourself several times over in ways unimagined before. And what did Kevin get a standing ovation for? He's amazing because he managed to marry someone with more money than she deserves?

And the Backstreet Boys. I could not believe they were making a come-back. It really, really pained me to watch them sing because none of them could carry a tune in a bucket! The only thing I can say for them is that Kevin was playing the keyboards, but it wasn't really a very difficult song. It wasn't a very good song, either! :laugh: And back in the day I was a fan of "I Want it That Way," but of course they couldn't sing it live to save their lives. Poor guys. Not one of them does anything for me. I remember this guy I knew in high school was wild about NSYNC and I remember thinking they were pretty much the same thing as the Backstreet Boys but when I asked him if he liked BSB too, he said, "Uh, no. BSB is not my cup of tea at all. NSYNC is way, way hotter." And you have to hand it to Justin Timberlake, who can outsing all of them.
