I just downloaded a bunch of new songs.

I really like the new Coldplay.
I really like the new Weezer.
I really like the new Garbage.
I really like the new White Stripes
I really like the new Ravonettes.

Really good stuff out there. It's exciting. Now I am trying to listen to some of Fiona's lost album. God I love her.

Any other new music I need to know about?? I am not into Dave Matthews so sans that.

As for others, the new album from Juliette and the Licks "You're Speaking My Language" is out today and they kick ass. Aimee Mann's new album "The Forgotten Arm" came out two weeks ago and it's awesome. "Bleed Like Me" from Garbage is fabulous, I can't stop playing that one.

And new Franz Ferdinand in late summer. :thumbsup:

EOM is OK, I love the 2 singles though :DYeah, the first single is "La Tortura" and you can hear a clip of it on her official website (http://www.gopophits.com/shakira/main.html). It's a duet with Alejandro Sanz.

Hmm...Oral Fixation eh? Interesting. Oddly I've never heard any of Shakira's Spanish stuff - although two of my friends in high school were HUGE fans of hers - before anyone in American maintstream even knew who she was! crazy.

I think the cover is kind of cute...It is a cute cover. It's kind of like the Donde Estan Los Ladrones? cover in that it's not what's expected, though I guess at this point one can expect the unexpected from Shakira. I liked her better with her natural black hair, though. I'm kind of disappointed that she didn't go back to it. Your friends are probably fans of it if they were fans back in her earlier days, too. I think she was cooler before no one in American mainstream knew who she was, though I wouldn't have found out about her otherwise. Same with Celine Dion. They were both better before they got really, really huge but if they hadn't, I never would've known how great they were before. :shrug:

So is the new White Stripes out yet? Also, how would you describe the new Raveonettes? They played here last month AND during SXSW. We can't seem to get rid of them! :laugh:

But...I am really excited for Billy Corgan's new album.
