Supposedly, Stevie is set to do two months worth of touring on her own after the 10 dates or so with Don. As of now, it's supposed to be an east coast/central US crawl with the farthest out west being AZ. Who knows if it'll change or not but apparently, that's what's rumored as of late.

I'm closer to Philadelphia but PNC is but a car ride away. I have friends up there so i'm certain i'll see her at that venue as well. Right now I have 2nd row tickets for Wachovia. I have a feeling she'll hit Philadelphia, hit Camden at the Tweeter Center (which is a stones throw away from Philadelphia). Of course we know she's already hitting PNC and who knows whether or not she'll hit Rutherford but i'm doubting that. I think it's a possibility she'll be back up farther north again. Perhaps not Maine but I picture her to be around Mass and Connecticut more than once.

How about you wait and see? I have a close friend who has invested in Stevie/Mac tours for years..he is investing in this summer gig. There are contractual reasons she cannot visit Cali...to do with Mr. Don and the Eagles. I have a feeling the people involved with putting up some of the money for this tour and the promotors know a bit more about it than Brett.

PS...I will ask them if anything changes. As of yesterday morning when I talked to his wife..the dates were still being organized and she was going as far West as Phoenix. It sucks but it is something to do with the Eagles and Don and Stevie's Two Voices tour. I am quite sure Brett assumes they are doing Cali...most peope would.

of course she's going to play on the west coast... she loves it there, especially the San Jose area.... there is a huge market there for her as well, so it would make zero sense for her not to play there on the "Gold Dust Tour"... she'll go there.. probably late July/ early August... then she'll come back to the east coast and wrap things up.. ;)

While I agree that the organizers would know more, these guys commit to tour and negotiate their salaries based on how many dates there are, so I imagine they are kept fairly in the loop as to what the plan is. I wouldn't panic over the lack of dates yet... as Kelly said, the best thing to do with anything Stevie/Mac is to wait & see.

Probably because the promoters feel that the Eages and Stevie (Fleetwood Mac) have the same audience and they would more than likely chose one over the other rather than go to both (probably the Eagles).

Yes, but they've had overlapping tours before... lots of artists with similar fanbases tour around the same time, sometimes even under the same promoter :shrug:.

I don't know. I've never been to Concord Pavillion. Is that in Oakland? I don't like to go farther south than San Jose...Sunnyvale is really my limit, but once in a while I get dragged to San Jo.

Me, too. I love outdoor ampitheatres!!!! Love them. But, I have to say, Oakland arena has great sound, too. I mean, I thought it was really good. Not that I'm totally an expert, but I was way far back, and it kicked. Plus, you just walk over that overpass from the BART station.... :laugh: Plus, you can sneak in easily.... :p

I wonder if she is planning to sell well on this tour. So far she is playing about 3 GIANT arenas. I do think that the tickets will sell well because of how successful the SYW tourwas.

I really do hope she comes back to the east coast for solo gigs.

She'd have to do half-house in many of the venues she's playing. Fleetwood Mac played at the Wachovia Center and couldn't manage to completely fill it with the end stage setup. I think you're correct...half house it's going to be, IMO. There'd be too many seats left unfilled with end stage in a large majority of these venues.

It could be that maybe after the Eagles wrap their month long California Tour from early August to sometime in September that Maybe Stevie and Don will head out on the road as a two-some and do Cali on their Two Voices Tour, a continutation of what they started in June... This could be the reason for Stevie not doing California dates solo, cause if you see her in July or August, there would be no incentive to come back in the fall to see her again if they do join up for something in the fall... Remember Stevie did say she needed a drummer until the end of the year. Not that that means anything concrete, but it could be the plan.

It could be that maybe after the Eagles wrap their month long California Tour from early August to sometime in September that Maybe Stevie and Don will head out on the road as a two-some and do Cali on their Two Voices Tour, a continutation of what they started in June... This could be the reason for Stevie not doing California dates solo, cause if you see her in July or August, there would be no incentive to come back in the fall to see her again if they do join up for something in the fall... Remember Stevie did say she needed a drummer until the end of the year. Not that that means anything concrete, but it could be the plan.

While I should just wait and see, I don't think this is the case. The Eagles "California Tour" (an even dumber name than "Gold Dust Tour") runs until October 14th.

I doubt Stevie and Don would come to CA in November, especially if the Eagles had already oversaturated the state for 2 months.

Oh man, if she plays in New York this summer I'm totally there (that is, IN New York - not Long Island or Jersey :rolleyes: ).

I'd LOVE it if she used this tour to finally make up her Radio City show that was cancelled because of 9/11, she did mention wanting to make it up some day in her journals, but who knows?

Yeah, I checked the other day and it was section 17 that came up! I really do want to hold out for more solo dates though. I saw her at Radio City for the Enchanted tour, and I had tickets for Sept. 14th 2001 there also. Up until the Vegas show last Friday, Radio City was the best place I've ever seen her.
