Enjoy! I will update this thread later as I took a lot of footage on Tuesday night and some on Wednesday (which Tiffany who is still partying it up in Vegas has been gracious enough to host). I think once you all see video you'll realize what an amazing show it is and how much Stevie aimed to please.

She truly does. When she came out in time with the movie in that dress with her hair pulled up, it absolutely took everyones breathe away. You could literally hear gasping throughout the colosseum. She's stunning...and the vocals combined with the outfit and the theatrics? Amazing.

I do not want to forget Sorcerer from Wednesday night. That? Was one sensual performance. The hip wiggling and swaying was so adorable. She seemed very frisky...like she was in the mood for some luvin! I cannot wait for ya'll to see some video from these performances because words just do not do them justice...you have to see it to believe.

I'm glad somebody else noticed what I did. I'm the last person to notice anything unusual but now I'll never be able to hear Sorcerer again without thinking of Wed night. I wonder what Stevie was up to on Tues night or earlier Wed that put her in such a mood?

I really wanted to drive home and see my hubby for a while Wed night but I had tickets for the weekend shows. I didn't want to waste the gas for a 12 hour round trip, but I sure had the energy to make the drive after that show. I figured I'd just listen to Sorcerer all the way home.

HSML was off the hook on Wed too. Did anyone else see her roll the cape/shawl from her shoulder and kick it aside? I forget which song it was when she did that, but I thought that was crazy. Wed was nuts if you were sitting close. I don't think everything she was doing was noticeable to people sitting beyond the first few rows.

I don't think it was either. I didn't do as much filming on Wednesday as I did on Tuesday. I'm kicking myself now for not getting that on my camera because we were so close. I don't think she's ever been so on fire. I have a new appreciation for that song courtesy of that slamming performance.

I was thinking on Tues that HSLM was going on too long. I was sitting at the back of the orchestra. On Wed I was third row right in front of Stevie and the first two rows were sitting down stiffs. On Wed when HSML was going on and on I was thinking...oh my lordy she's gonna start taking her clothes off in a minute.

Wednesday you were right near me. Had I known who you were and that you were there, I would have said hello (I was shaking my ass in the aisle to your left, 4 rows back in the brown shirt). I think sometimes Stevie really fights for her audience when she sees people sitting there like stiffs (and Wednesday, there were a lot and some were extremely rude) but yes, I too did a double take at Stevie's ultra-sexy performance of HSML.
Is it just me or was this the longest rendition of Edge ever?? I felt as though it was neverending.

Me too! Sorry I didn't meet you. Everyone in front of me was a stiff but I was sitting with some friends right next to me and behind me. We seemed to be the only ones standing until a few rows back. I wondered if it actually was the audience she was aiming for on Wed. She seemed to me to be almost in a zone or not looking at the audience at all. She was closing her eyes a lot and smiling a lot. Did you notice that?

Next time (because we're all going to Vegas again  ). You had to of been sitting right next to Kandace and in front of my other two friends (I was flying solo but ended up sitting next to Pattie and Tiffany's friend Anita which was great). I DO NOT think it was the audience she was aiming for with that particular performance  She was most definitely in the zone and grooving and I'm so glad someone else noticed the closing of the eyes and smiling. I hope this translated well to the bootleg.

When we got back to the hotel room after each show, we attempted to make a list of adlibs and lyric changes. I'm sure we missed a lot because she was shooting them out left and right.

Yes, that was me. I was with Kandace and Lindsay. Do you know them, too? Hey, they never introduced us! Oh well. I'm glad people I never talked to saw all the things I saw Wed. Girl, they were my roomates! Lindsay, Kelly, Kandace and I are good friends. Neither of them post on the boards except for Kelly and I. I met Kandace through a woman I chatted with that lives in Ireland and then met and hung out with them both last year at the AC and Camden shows. We had a ball. They're good people but aren't into the posting scene. I'm definitely glad I met them because they've made the whole concert experience a lot of fun.
No, had I not been there, I probably would have been like, "you're kidding!" If they slipped something in your drink, they stopped by my seat and did the same

I told my friends who weren't there, I think a couple of people are going straight to hell for that stuff. No, I don't think the cameras on the mezzanine were filming a video but I think an in house monitor was displaying close ups of what we were seeing. ;)
I was wearing black most of the time. On Wed I was 3rd row directly in front of Stevie and in the seat to the left of Kandace. Lindsay was behind me.

Now that we've compared a few notes in this picture thread, who's got the guts to post a full review of Wednesday's show highlighting that side of Stevie people haven't seen in ages, if ever? Seems I'm not the only one who noticed what she was doing and how unlike the other shows it was. Do you think it would ever get posted on the NicksFix if a review included mention of the subtle sexual touching, hip and ass grind moves, mic kissing, etc? John would probably not post anything like that unless he saw the same things during the show and also didn't mind people commenting about it. I have a feeling it wouldn't fly.

Yes, oh yes, I noticed that right off, very early in the show. It was ususally while she wasn't singing. Not like how she fools with the other ear and waist pack while trying to hear herself sing. She had her eyes closed and smiled a lot when doing that. I also noticed how many times she touched her face and felt her hair all the time right after that or before touching the ear. It was very obvious from my seat right in front of her. She was not paying any attention to anything or anyone in the seated audience. You think she had another audience, too? ;)

I would LOVE to see ALOT of video from these performances - PLEASE! That would be incredible!
I've been reluctant to fully describe what went on that night because I'm not sure a vid boot will show these things the way people in the front seats saw it happening. Unless there are a lot of close ups of just Stevie, it won't be noticeable. The attitude might be picked up on and the ad libs will be in there but all the subtle things going on that were way out of the ordinary will only show up in tight close ups. Most boots don't get close. Shots of the full stage will never reveal these things. If a taper got tight shots of her singing Sorcerer, HSML, FFG, IAF or even SB, which was kind of vampy, it might show some of these things, but a taper seated in the mezz or back orchestra wouldn't have seen or noticed enough to realize it was necessary to get tight shots by seeing things from far away. It will only be on there by accident if there are any lengthy close ups. The video of BATB taped from the front on Wed does show her touching her face like she was doing a lot that night and not the other nights, but that's the closest thing we might get to these things that are hard to describe if you weren't sitting right in front of her and watching the entire performance live.

You think she had another audience, too? ;)
Exactly, and I did notice the eyes closed and smiling (she'd turn her back away from the audience for a moment...did you notice that as well?). The first few rows had the opportunity to see it ALL. Oh, I'm sure she had another audience

I'm hoping that since the venue was smaller than most arenas, the taper may have been able to get tighter shots of Stevie. Esp. since security seemed to be very lax considering how big a deal was made of their "no cameras" policy.
I'm not saying they allowed people to record, BUT I don't think the taper(s) would have needed to hide too much as long as they sat quietly. So hopefully we'll end up with a great quality, steady show with lots of close-ups!

I realized it was something else when she talked to herself away from the mic, and when stepping back from the mic and turning her back. I could see that, too. It was always with her head tilted toward her shoulder. She was in a zone while facing us. Then she was sometimes saying things during the non singing parts but I could only see her lips moving. She was doing the kissing thing away from the mic at first but when she went up to the live mic and did it, I did a double take the first time she did it. I looked at Kandace like, did you just see that? We looked at each other exactly at the same time and thought...WTH? When she did it again and again I knew that show was heading to the twilight zone.

Hopefully they were able to get close up shots but I have a feeling most of those recording were towards the top of the theater where perhaps it won't translate as well as it would have if you were up front.

We may have to coin a new word or phrase. I don't even think sassy covers it. Start working on that
Let's think of all applicable adjectives for Wed.'s HSML & Sorcerer & figure out how to combine them.
Sassy
Sex-ay
Vamp
Sultry
Sensual
what else....

Who noticed the difference in what she was doing with the mic ribbons all night? At a distance I'm sure it looked like the usual grab on for dear life and shake your nerves out on those streamers. It didn't look that way to me on Wed. Naughty is a good word to describe the ribbon stroking she was doing that night. That could have happened Friday? Which day was she dragging the cape around during FFG? That was hilarious.

YESSSSSS! Saw it too. She was even playing seductively with the ribbons and I am SURE she was listening to something or someone talking into her right ear because out of no where she would smile and lean into her shoulder and talk. I thought she was losing her mind. The left was the sound board. (could be the other way around)

I was in Las Vegas for the Opening of "Dreams" at Ceasars Palace. I was so thrilled as I am a Vegas Native traveling from Los Angeles back to my home town to support Stevie.I was excited after hearing the Jim Ladd Interview that she was going all out in this Venue to create an evening never seen before. In the Interview she spoke of "pulling out old songs never or rarely performed live"..maybe Storms..maybe Sisters Of The Moon..maybe Highwayman..old Video Clips playing behind her...vintage costumes from past tours..and major production..taking full advantage of the huge IMAX Screens used currently by Celine & Elton. There were also several Interviews Stevie gave to local radio stations saying that "Talk To Me is my favorite Video and I intend to open the show with it."
Unfortunately none of the above occured.
Stevie was wonderful as always! She was in good voice despite dodging many high notes.
The set was brief..and there were really no surprises for anyone who follows her solo set lists.
The Highlights were If Anyone Falls..were she used a brief ballet clip from the video and her Finale of Beauty & The Beast..(her best performance of the evening). She had a cool opening clip from I Can't Wait Video..(breaking through the wall). Other than that 90% of the show
was her usual set list. She was only shown once on the large screen towards the end..which I found odd..I would have preferred to see her than the psycadelic projections behind her through most of the show. She did not spin at all..not even on Stand Back..not one. No Boots. And she never even mentioned anything about being in Las Vegas. There were no new or old costumes. Only black. Lori looked and sounded amazing as did the whole band!!! It was great to see Waddy Wachtel up there again! I have seen every Stevie solo & FM show..I love, admire and respect her tremendously and always will. It seemed thrown together very fast. What was promised and what was delivered were two different things.

Wednesday's show was better. She was more relaxed...way more relaxed..there was a bit of twirling and a high kick during SB. I thought the stage looked pretty steep and perhaps that was why she did not twirl as much. She was shown on the video screens throughout the show on Wed and for the rest of the week. I have some good photos of it but cannot figure out how to post them.
BTW...she discussed opening with TTM for TISL....it did not happen either. Vocally that song is really challenging for her and frankly, I never thought she would go there. IMHO, the new songs she did add made up for the lack of TTM. The venue had a 90 minute limit and on the set list a friend of mine was lucky enough to get..the show was like 88 minutes long. So..that left her very little time to change her clothes. I would rather have more singing than her spending the valuable minutes going backstage to change her dress or throw on a boa. I would have liked a hat or two though! I chalk alot of it up to nerves, lack of time to prepare and some unreasonable expectations by people.

I guess you missed the white skirt in Edge of 17? Or the all white outfit during I Need to Know? I dont think it's fair to say it was ALL BLACK...She also wore the cool (yes black) outfit, over the white skirt for Beauty and the Beast..had her hair pulled up in a number of songs...
And not to be picky...lol..but the black outfit she wore in Vegas for most songs is actually DIFFERENT than the one she has worn on previous tours, especially the stand back cape esque skirt which has white rhinestones, or dots on it......and thank GOD she's not wearing that black dress from the SYW Tour that has the little "worms" as I call it on the skirt? Do you all know what I'm talkin about ?

Yes Chris... i don't ever want to see her in that dress again.. not so much that it was a bad dress, but the fact that she wore the damn thing every single night on the first leg of the SYW tour.. as if it was her manditory uniform or something...
