Stevie Nicks
Landover 7/7/83
Capitol Center
Audio Quality: A-
01 Gold Dust Woman (cuts in on intro)
02 Outside the Rain/Dreams
03 Band Intros

06 If Anyone Falls
07 Leather and Lace
08 Stand Back
09 Beauty and the Beast
10 Gypsy
The show was wonderful as a video, it is even cooler as audio, espeically lossless audio. It sounds wonderful in the car also! No compression was involved when transferring the audio from the dvd. The audio remains the same as it was originally. Any tweaking would have messed with the authenticity of the whole feeling you get when you hear something that was recorded 22 years ago. This is the show where Stevie pulled a little girl up from the audience during Stand Back and danced with her and held her throughout the song. For all of you real fans, you will love this if you haven't heard it already. THE SOUND IS GREAT! Thanks to Dreammms for the upgraded DVD!"

it can be frustrating sometimes with the search engine, So I thought it would be logical to just post the links here whenever a new Stevie solo torrent shows up

Not a problem :-) I will probably begin extracting the other 2 here over the next few days and should have it all up by the end of the weekend! I cant wait to share it. :blob2:
Thanks for starting a Stevie torrent thread!.
Dime changed the search function a few months ago. If you put quotation marks around the artists name, your results will come back with only that artist's torrents or other torrents where their songs are performed or mentioned as part of a setlist. Also, make sure to use the search feature box that "includes dead torrents" It will bring up all of the available torrents for one artist AND torrents that need help with a seed, whereas the regular search function only brings up the torrents that are actively being leached.
I hope the Vegas video show/s get seeded on Dime and most fans don't have to try to arrange a trade to see the videos.

Thanks for the search info... I didn't know that, very helpful..
I hope the audio takes the same route on dime, so there are lossless versions and not just the mp3's.

I can't believe they don't have something that tells you about the quotation marks. I had emailed them and their response was something like " we posted about it in the forum" and they told me about using quotation marks.
I hope the audio is posted both in MP3 for fans who can't dowload torrents, and on Dime for those that can and want lossless. When it comes to the videos, it's so hard for many fans to find people willing or able to trade videos with them that having it on Dime is a great way to get it into circulation and out and around to more fans.

This came from the upgraded dvd I received from Dreammms. THank you Dani! This is a good show. It was pouring down rain for the first part of the show. She took frequent breaks (you will notice a lot of crowd spots) so they could clean the floors. Sound distortion in some songs due to the original video but overall, this is a great upgrade from the mp3 stuff we had before of this particular concert!

Anyone else having trouble accessing the dimeadozen.org site? When I came home yesterday, I tried to start up my client and download Bethel, but was unable to. I thought perhaps it was an Azureus problem, and downloaded BitTornado, but that didn't work either. My connection is being refused, or the site is unavailable - I don't know which. So, is everyone else reaching it fine?

I can't get on either. I read from their Yahoo newsgroup that the site is having database problems now, but that should be all that's behind it.
Btw Nancy, I also read from the newsgroup that they're not allowing the use of Azureus 2.3.0.0 (or higher) on their tracker anymore because it conflicts with their share ratio policy. So I guess we have to use Azureus 2.2.0.2, or some other client from now on when seeding/leeching at Dime.

I totally agree with you... but for a different reason. Why not just upload/download MP3 files? But no... the diehard bit torrenters are just so obsessed with these so-called "lossless" files that only a fine spectrum analyzer can distinguish from a 192 kbps "lossy" (i.e., MP3) file. A regular human's ears wouldn't be able to distinguish this! Still... they insist on trading these outrageously large files... it's just silly.

There is a monstrous thread all about Bit Torrents and why MP3's suck over on the Rumours board. If you have dial-up, it's not even worth bothering to try and download a torrent, though.

MP3s only start to suck when you use low bitrates in order to conserve bandwidth. Unlike analog recordings, MP3s do not degrade generation after generation, so there is no other excuse for the bad quality. Unfortunately, these low-bitrate files have a tendency to spread like ebola.
But seriously, I would love to strap a torrent-head into a chair and do an audio test to see if he/she could tell the difference between a FLAC and a high bitrate mp3.

But seriously, I would love to strap a torrent-head into a chair and do an audio test to see if he/she could tell the difference between a FLAC and a high bitrate mp3.
The problem is that a large number of people rip them at low bitrates to start with. MP3s are inferior in quality to begin with (not that most people can hear it on MP3s with high bitrates) and the reason those chaps are so anal about them is because they want to keep music and bootlegs in their original form instead of having stuff converted to MP3, slapped onto a CD, and then traded and ripped once again at a lower bitrate. If they take the time to boot the stuff, I'm going to take the time to adhere to the standards they set. Most traders won't touch Mac/Stevie stuff with a ten foot pole because it's all been ripped as low quality MP3s and traded for; a lot of it is plain ole ****.

What happened to just sharing music for the sake of sharing it? Like, sharing the groove, man, dig? I wouldn't give a rat's ass what people intend to do with it, especially since, a) I am pragmatic, b) I am not entitled to financial compensation, c) it is not my music to begin with; the artist is the one who unwittingly gets exploited in all of this. And it's one thing if you have undergone extraordinary effort to make an authorized studio recording of something... but here we are talking about primarily AUDIENCE recordings, which are full of ambient noise and clutter; they are hardly pristine feats of engineering to start with, so what is the point of treating them like they are like master tapes? Again, only a spectrum analyzer and perhaps some breeds of dogs could discern a "lossless" vs. a high bitrate mp3. So let's fight the real enemy here- crappy bitrates!

OK, can someone please walk me through what the heck you do after you download the files? They're all flac files, and I downloaded some program called FLAC frontend to convert them to WAVs, but I can't seem to get that to work. All this just to hear "How Still My Love"...

Try going to www.dbpoweramp.com and downloading the free converter. That's what I use and it's pretty easy, once you figure it out! I don't say "easy" lightly either-I'm a recovering technophobe who is incredibly techno-challenged, so if I can do it ANYONE can! :p

Hey Jessica, thanks for the tip... I downloaded that program but now it doesn't seem to recognize the .flac files from the torrent program... Is there something I need to do to them first?
MacMan
05-29-2005, 07:25 PM
If you have Flac Front End... that's all you need to convert them.
Open the program - it will be a small square window that opens up with a blank white area with the word files above the white area... this is where you drop the files into to convert.
Open the folder where you have the flac files and drag and drop them into this window. Once that is done you are ready to convert.
In the bottom section under the heading "General Options" you have an option that says "Delete Input Files". Check this off if you want the flac files to be automatically deleted once they are converted to wav. If you don't want them to be deleted leave it blank.
Below that under the heading "Output Directory" make sure it says in the window "Same as input directory" meaning.. you want the converted files to be placed back into the folder where you got them from.
Once you decided on those two items click the button on the right that says "Decode" and a black dos window should open up and you should be able to watch as the files are being converted to wav... takes no time at all.
Try dragging and dropping one file into the flac program as a test to see how it works.
Good luck.

Go to the torrent thread in the Rumours section and just start from the very beginning. That's what I did, and it worked (FINALLY). As a recovering technophobe, I've only been into computers for about 2 1/2 years now. The torrent thing was VERY mind-boggling to me at first. I'd get frustrated and almost say to hell with it, but I'm stubborn and hate to admit defeat :p. I thought I'd NEVER figure all that crap out BUT I FINALLY DID AND IT WAS TOTALLY WORTH IT! Believe me, if I can figure it out anyone can. Just take several deep breaths and take it one step at a time. If you get confused, just stop for awhile and come back to it later with a fresh brain. YOU CAN LEARN THIS, I PROMISE. Good luck and keep trying! :wavey:

A beautiful early June evening in the dreaded venue formerly known as the Garden State Arts Center. I had heard and read tales of tight security, but had no problem with the DAT down the pants. The audience was an eclectic mix of old male forty-something fogies and lots of lesbians (not that there's anything wrong with that - just left me rather tongue-tied :-p) and waify wives with wispy layers of gauze bandanas. Which sort of clashed with the endless glow of cell phones (during the intermission between sets, one could text message a number and see their "I luv Stevie!!" message appear on the big screen).
I went with my wife because she like Stevie Nicks and because she always affords me the opportunity to go see anyone I want. I didn't expect much, having stopped listening to the Eagles when Joe Walsh left, and Fleetwood Mac when Peter Green left. (I'm one of those old forty-something fogies).
I was surprised at how good the show was.
The entire audience was looking to the rear of the venue for someone or something during the opening notes of "Hotel California". I think we thought Joe Walsh was going to come out of the crowd and join Don. Alas and alack, it was only Stevie, and she came from the wings. (Just like a one-winged dove, as my sister-in-law would say). "Boys of Summer" - one of the perfect driving down the parkway too-fast songs, was particularly good.
The opening intro for Rhiannon was very poiognant, and "Edge of Seventeen" kicked major ass, but for me, the highlight of Stevie's set was the sad and beautiful "Beauty and the Beast" played to the accompaniement of a video. My wife, who is better schooled in her songs, thought "Gold Dust Woman" was the killer.
The lesbians favored "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around.
You pays your money and you takes your chances.
Recorded by Zackman from half way back on the floor, slightly stage right. I had a nice column behind me which camoulflaged the gear, and meant for one less row of noisy lesbians to contend with.
Core Sound Binaurals > Sony PCM1 > optical link > Phillips STand alone.
No eq, no nr, so ****, Shirlock.
while transferring to CD, I missed entering the track marker between Hotel Cal and NY Minute - call it a bi-coastal moment in honor of the lesbians. The trac was subsequently split into 4 and 4a using Gold Wave.
This show fits on two cd's if you put the encore (Don didn't do one) at the end of Disc one - that's how it's laid (in honor of the old fogies who got lucky on the not-fast-enough ride home) here.
Enjoy

This is like the 3rd version of this show to surface - 3 different tapers - I'm looking forward to this one as it appears to be a complete concert. The other show that I know of (not Brian's) is the full show up to about half way through Edge of Seventeen where apparently the taper miscalculated the length of the show and ran out of tape. I haven't heard it yet - it's on it's way so it will be interesting to see the comparisons.

Buckinghamnicks.net Nancy has put these up on Dime...
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=51453&dllist=1#seeders
These are a set of rough demos by Lindsey Buckingham c. 1993-1996.
Some were brought to fruition with Fleetwood Mac, some can be found on other unreleased collections, some are unique to this collection.
Please note: Many of these are very rough and therefore not of interest to just a casual fan. Deep Dense, Try for the Sun, She Smiled Sweetly, Someone's Got to Change Your Mind, Blue Turns To Grey, and Down On Rodeo are complete tracks, though even some of these are unmixed and have an unfinished quality.
These came to me on two discs although they would fit on one.
Lineage: Cassette>CD-R>EAC>wav>flac
Track listing:
Vol. 1
1. Try for the Sun - Cass.
2. Try for the Sun - Track
3. She Smiled Sweetly
4. Someone's Gotta Change Your Mind
5. Deep Dense - Cass.
6. Deep Dense - Track 1
7. My Little Demon - Gtrs.
8. Given Thing - Demo 1
Vol. 2
1. Steves Riff - Cass.
2. Steves Riff - Track
3. Deep Dense - Track 2
4. My Little Demon - Track (cut)
5. Down on Rodeo - Demo
6. Down on Rodeo - Track
7. Blue Turns to Grey
8. Given Thing - Demo 2
Artwork is included (three files). This was not in the original seed, but I added it for this re-seed. It is what came with the CDs. The song list is written in Lindsey's own hand, according to the source. Since the originals came in two volumes, the cover art is for those two volumes (the back cover art is the same for both).

Peter.. i'm inclined to believe it is... again, only because they list the drum solo as "percussion & drum solos", which is how i word that track... i did not upload this show myself nor did anyone ask me if they could or tell me that they were going to.. i guess the only way to know for sure is to hear it
however, it is not my complete show unless it includes the "bootylicious" intro and the "dreams intro" ;)

you have to download the bit torrent program...
www.bittorrent.com
and then you will probably need the FLAC program...do a Google search for FLAC FRONTEND
and then you have to wait for a spot to become free on DIME..
hopefully that helps!

http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=51864&viewcomm=567925#comm567925
Stevie Nicks in Las Vegas, Nevada at Caesar's Palace DVD 1 of 2
Date: May 10, 2005
Audience Bootleg
The first night of Stevie's four Vegas appearances done in May. Definitely a good performance - Beauty and the Beast is breathtaking. While this is a good for an audience bootleg, there are many times when the spotlight shines so that Stevie's face is obscured. See the screenshots which I will attach in the comments.
Setlist for disc 1:
1) Intro
2) Dreams Intro
3) Enchanted
4) Stop Draggin' My Heart Around
5) Outside the Rain
6) Dreams
7) Rhiannon
8) Sorcerer
9) Stand Back
10) Landslide
Taper: according to Brian J, from whom I received the DVD in trade, the taper is named Bill T.
Artwork: I included a DVD cover I made using a photo taken by Marissa M. and one taken by Pattie D. It's not glorious but it's better than nothing!
I will seed the second DVD as soon as this one gets fully uploaded and enough people are on it to keep it going. This is my first time seeding a DVD, so let me know if there are any problems.

The last song fades out due to an altercation with the two loudmouth **** grandmothers next to the me. First they talked loudly the entire time, then actually leaned over, bumped into me, and talked directly into the mics to ask me and my girl what the name of the performer was after they had just talked through 95% of her entire set. The tape fades out before they are told they are worthless pieces of life and should shut the f*ck up to which they replied "we'll be quiet when the show starts." Apparently an opening act isn't part of the f*cking show. They then continued to talk during the entire headliner's set as well. The tape isn't as bad as the above makes it sound, but there is noticeable talking in various places.

It depends on how many seeders and leechers there. The more seeders, the faster it downloads. If you jump on something right away while there's one one or a few seeders and lots of leechers, it's going to go pretty slow. :)
I didn't know that Nancy had upped the Vegas DVD and when I got around to grabbing it, there was around 50 seeders and only a few leechers, so it downloaded at around 200KBs.

Basically you'll need a couple of programs to get you started. One is a client which there are a number of. The one I use is called bitcomet and you can download it here:http://www.download.com/BitComet/3000-2196_4-10403943.html?tag=lst-0-1
The other program you will need is called flac front end. When you download the show(s), for the most part they are flac files which is compressed .wav files. Flac Frontend decompresses the files to .wav once you've downloaded them. You can download that program here:http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html Look for the one listed under Windows (if that is your browser) the one called Flac 1.1.2. for windows with installer. Once that is installed you are able to uncompress the flac files which will convert them to .wav for you to burn to disc.
The Flac Front End program when you open it looks just like the one in this pic: http://members.home.nl/w.speek/flac.htm You go to the folder where you've downloaded the files, open the folder and drag and drop the flac files in the window of the Flac Frontend Program... then all you do is click on decode which initiates the conversion from Flac to .wav.
That should keep you busy for awhile. The main thing is installing the client to download the show... Once that's done, then the rest should be a snap...
It does take abit to wrap your head around, but once you do and gradually understand the whole thing how it works, it's really kind of cool how the whole thing works... Downloads can take awhile sometime like Dis explained.. but the payoff is usually pretty great.

Thanks! Lot of stuff to go through tonight! Will keep me of the streets atleast. :p

Click on the show you want at at the top of the page that it goes to, there will be a .torrent link. Click that and BitComet should open right up. It'll ask you where you want to save it to, choose where, and it'll start downloading. Personally, I use BitTornado. It's the fastest and easiest to use.

In this picture you will see the list of tracks. When you open your flac front end program, it will be blank... Open the folder where your flac files were downloaded to and drag the flac files over and drop them in the open blank space. Then click on "decode" near the bottom on the right. Where it says "delete Input Files, if you check it off, it will delete the flac files as they are converted to .wav. If you don't check it off, the flac files will remain and you will also have converted flac files to .wav:

As for the runtime error.. Don't know what that is. Where did you download the flac front end? Did you follow those links I provided in another thread yesterday (previous page), you want to download the front end from this site: http://flac.sourceforge.net/download.html The one for windows with installer.. Installed to your programs files. I can't remember, but you may have to restart your computer afterwards.

Do the files you downloaded have the black box icon beside each track with the big "f" with some green, red and yellow dots... basically the front end logo is what I mean... Are they visible beside each track?

Yeah, the logos are next to each track. Hmm. I must be too tired. I just uninstalled the program, and just went to redownload it and now I have the
flacinstaller.asp file, and when I open it it takes me to microsoft front page, but I don't remember what to do after that. LOL.

Okay, that is strange... You may want to take a break... It took me 3 friggin days to figure this thing out - so don't ge frustrated if it doesn't work out right away... looks like you had the program installed cause it recognized the files with the logo beside it...
Basically you should downloade the .exe file to your desktop so you can find it easily, and when it asks where to install it to, put it in your programs folder... from there, open the program and drop your files in. What should happen is a dos window, this black window, will open up and you should be able to see the files being converted as it happens.
If anyone else has any input to help out... feel free to drop in with any suggestions..

Didn't Neil once upload Lindsey's In Concert special DVD when his upload was capped at around 12k/s?
Yeah I did LB's Center Stage DVD twice and the FM Tusk Rehearsal from the 20th Oct 1979, I took a while, the Tusk DVD was over a week, I now have a second slower PC which I use as my torrent box.

It was interesting to contrast the attitudes. Christine's a trooper, doing what needs to be done. John and Mick are the same. Lindsey is intense as always, Stevie's - well - there. It's actually been a few months since I've seen it, but I enjoyed the "behind the scenes" look, especially Lindsey having to call Stevie over to do sound effects on one of his songs. "STEVIE!" lol She looked SO bored. I got the impression Lindsey was more invested in getting it right than the others, which must have been pretty frustrating for him. Of course, that's just a snapshot view, perhaps not indicative of the reality of the situation. (Shallow comment: I also thought his outfit was cuter than the stupid trendy New-Wave suits).

Stevie seemed like she was ready to doze off at any moment. She sings "Angel" with all the interest of a Jew at Christmas brunch on that thing. Christine was the one I enjoyed watching the most, she seemed to be having a little bit of fun, whereas the other two were...the other two.

I'm sure the problem lies within him and if any files are corrupt it's probably within his torrent program. And "his torrents"??? This guy hasn't ever uploaded a torrent so case closed on him. I just can't believe some people's rudeness! Especially when someone is kind enough to share a dvd, well make that two dvds!

I wouldn't worry about it Nancy... They came on a little strong, I think, considering they didn't enquire first if anyone else was having a problem...

Video from 2nd camcorder generally focused on one of the screens on
either side of the stage. Most likely stationed at back of venue since
shots of stage appear "soft" which is possibly due to digital zoom and
lighting. Chapters/Tracks 15, 16 & 17 (encores) are screen only views
(no stage). Hotel California from the Don Henley part of the show is
included because Stevie looks great in those pants.

13) Percussion / Drum Solos
14) Guitar Solo / Edge of Seventeen
15) Stop Draggin' My Heart Around (w/Don Henley) [encore]
16) Leather And Lace (w/Don Henley) [encore]
17) So You Want To Be A Rock & Roll Star (w/Don Henley) [encore]
18) Hotel California (Don Henley and Stevie Nicks) [bonus video]
Other Track/Chapter Notes:
Video from 2nd camcorder generally focused on one of the screens on
either side of the stage. Most likely stationed at back of venue since
shots of stage appear "soft" which is possibly due to digital zoom and
lighting. Chapters/Tracks 15, 16 & 17 (encores) are screen only views
(no stage). Hotel California from the Don Henley part of the show is
included because Stevie looks great in those pants.
Audio Quality: C?
Thanks for the heads up peter!

has anyone having problems playing Stevie Nicks (with Don Henley)_2005-06-03_Philadelphia_DVD[reauthored] downloaded from the Dime on their computer. I have a problem playing Vts_01_4 segment on Power dvd, it locks up, but the rest are ok.

so far the show what i've seen is awesome but the video dies on the 4th chapter. To me it sounds like the file is corrupt, or encoded wrong.

Stevie Nicks
Live at the US Festival
Glen Helen Park
San Bernadino, CA
May 30, 1983
http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=54757&dllist=1#seeders
Here is a DVD Audio Rip from the Stevie Nicks US Festival 1983 DVD. The sound is overall A- with some glitches that came from the source video. My VHS copy has the same glitches at the same parts...one is at the end of Gypsy. Stevie is very wild and very "high on life" if you will lol. She talks a lot to the audience and she cracks jokes all throughout the show. One minor flaw of the show is that on some of the songs her mic isn't working properly so you can barely hear her. I do believe this is the first live performace of Stand Back and the first solo live performance of Gypsy. This should be an upgrade for the mp3 versions of this concert that are floating around as this is totally lossless. Enjoy! Oh, the actual DVD for this concert is not commercially available nor ever was on VHS or Beta (had to throw that one in there for giggles!). The actual DVD of this concert was torrented awhile back, I suggest asking for a re-seed of that DVD if you want it...or contact a trader. I do not know how to torrent DVDs and I do not have a DVD burner so don't ask me to do it. Thank you to you know who for the DVD..you are true friend! :-P

June 3, 2005 – Wachovia Center, Philadelphia, PA
DVD Re-Authored w/chapters to coincide with songs (no menu)
Audience Bootleg – shot using ONE camcorder (taper unknown); left-middle when facing
stage
Audio format: Dolby Digital (AC-3) 2.0
Re-Encoding mode: High Quality (2-Pass VBR)
Number of titles: 1
1. Henley_Nicks_060305 (Video Title, 1h 10m 25s, 12 chapters)
Video mode: NTSC
Aspect ratio: 4:3
Quality: Custom (8425 kbps)
Resolution: 720 x 480 (CCIR-601 D1)
Chapter Listing:
01 - The Genie
02 - Witchy Woman [note: glitch around the 9:14 mark]
03 - Hotel California (w/Stevie Nicks)
04 - New York Minute (w/Stevie Nicks)
05 - The Last Worthless Evening (w/Stevie Nicks)
06 - The Boys Of Summer
07 - The Heart Of The Matter
08 - Dirty Laundry
09 - Life In The Fast Lane
10 - All She Wants To Do Is Dance
11 - The End Of The Innocence [encore]
12 - Desperado [encore]
Chapter/Track Notes:
At or around the 9:14 mark, during the Witchy Woman solo, the video begins going dark
and cuts (taper may have had to turn off the camcorder) losing part of the song. Resumes
at 9:23, ending with a verse from The Genie. I was at this show, but can't remember if
he actually ended Witchy Woman with a verse from The Genie.
Video Quality: B(-) to C(-); somewhat disappointing; grainy & soft on close-ups, possibly
due to digital zoom; digital artifacts noticeable in dark areas.
Audio Quality: C to C(-); hollow & distant stadium sound; also difficult to understand
conversational talk in between songs.
I wish I had a better copy. Don put on a great show which is somewhat lost because of the
audio & video quality.
As as follow-up to Stevie's half of the June-03-2005 Two Voices DVD, Don's half (http://www.dimeadozen.org/torrents-details.php?id=55359) of the show has now been posted:

Buckingham Nicks - Coffee Plant Demos
These are Buckingham Nicks demos c. 1970-1974.
They are called the "coffee plant demos" because Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks used to record in the basement of Lindsey's father's coffee plant before they went to LA to get a record deal. However, I feel that it is a bit of a misnomer because we know Sorcerer and Garbo were written after the couple arrived in LA. Regardless, these are wonderful quality demos. While some of these were released later by Stevie or Fleetwood Mac, the gem Without You, the aptly named Cathouse Blues, and the quaint Goldfish and the Ladybug never made it off the shelf. Authorship is not documented in those cases, but although Without You may have been co-written, it is safe to say the others were penned by Stevie.
As you can see, the songs have more than one version. The only differences I can discern between the versions are which instruments are brought forward in the mix, as indicated.
1. Without You (Acoustic Guitar/Vocal)
2. Nomad aka Candlebright (Acoustic Guitar/Vocal)
3. That's Alright aka Designs of Love (Acoustic Guitar/Vocal)
4. Garbo (Acoustic Guitar/Vocal)
5. Sorcerer (Acoustic Guitar/Vocal/No Drum Machine)
6. Cathouse Blues (Acoustic Guitar/Vocal)
7. Goldfish and the Ladybug (Acoutic Guitar/Vocal)
8. Without You (Bass/Vocal)
9. Nomad aka Candlebright (Alternate Acoustic Guitar/Vocal)
10. That's Alright aka Designs of Love (Bass/Vocal)
11. Garbo (Bass/Vocal)
12. Sorcerer (Bass/Drum Machine/Vocal)
13. Cathouse Blues (Bass/Vocal)
14. Goldfish and the Ladybug (Vocal Only)

Tracks 1-7 have recently been issued here as a 14 track torrent. These are the STEREO versions recorded on Lindsey's Ampex 4 track. The previous torrent contained individual mono multi-tracks(left channel-right channel) of the 7 songs. They are presented here with the proper mixes. Tracks 8 - 10 are an excellent soundboard recording with full band. You'll love the "new" song Rhiannon which was a sign of things to come. Received this in a snailmail trade many years ago as BONUS tracks with the BN 1973 Polydor album. Was told they are from the master sources. Judging from the sound I'd have to agree.
Sorry to inflict extra downloading...but I think this is way you should be hearing these tunes.
As Always...Enjoy & share!

This one (http://www.thetradersden.org/forums/showthread.php?t=12732) has been sitting at The Trader's Den for a few days already, but it's still going:
Stevie Nicks 1980s Edge of 17 accapella & 1 outtake (FLAC)
Found this on the end of a tape and I thought I'd throw it up since the quality is so good. I don't really like her, I'm a Lindsey person myself and I don't buy Mac records because of her. The Edge of 17 is from a Boston radio station where she and another singer sang the song accapella with the song in their headphones (you can hear the track bleeding through at times, but I've gotten the OK from the mods to put this up). The outtake has been around for years (I've heard), now she finally got around to re-recording it on the new Mac cd.

Yeah the Smile at you is the old demo - sounds like it's dragging too... the accapella Edge is a little strange cause you can tell they are singing along to their own voices.

GREAT Concert by Stevie Nicks getting a little help from her friends. This show is excellent to listen to and is complete. Even if you don't like Stevie, you have to dig the set list that is included in this annual show she does for AHI. ENJOY!
Let me know of any problems/questions/corrections.

Excellent concert of Stevie's, probably one of her best from the 1994 Street Angel tour. Includes an excellent version of The Chain and Gold Dust Woman. Great sound that makes you feel like you're right there.

Notes:
I received this about two months before "Trouble In Shangri-La" was released as a teaser. I don't know how they got it or copied it, but it has wonderful demos. It includes "Space Needle," which is one of Stevie's best demos ever recorded IMHO. I have a second CD of demos dated 8.2.99 & 8.4.99, but through EAC, I found they were lossy. So here is the best of the best of this era's demos.
If anyone has lossless versions of the other demos (Annabell Lee, Fall From Grace, Love Changes, That Made Me Stronger) please seed! ENJOY!
