all the same

Alright, this is a big curiosity...
Who is first major celebrity crush? I first fell hard for Harrison Ford at the tender age of 5, followed quickly by David Bowie from the Labyrinth era. It gets a little embarassing after Corey Haim. :distress:

Okay you guys! This is actually "all the same" now. That wasn't my thread but rather started by "red". So, don't think I'm lame enough to have a crush on Harrison Ford! Not me! That was "red"!
My crushes are:
Atreyu from The Never Ending Story (and as gross as it may sound, I still have a crush on him every time I see it! Uh....)
David Bowie in Labyrinth
That's all I can think of right now. There are more but I've got drinking to do on this fine Friday night!

Good gawd. I adore Bowie, but those tights. Ew.
I had so many celebrity crushes growing up that I couldn't possibly list them all. Susan Sarandon, Belinda Carlisle, and Debbie Harry were the big ones, though.

Well. Harrison Ford was MY first big crush, and I still think he's hot. Thank you, Star Wars and Raiders of the Lost Ark.

I remember in grade 7 you had to love Brad Pitt (or someone like that) to be normal so I just convinced myself I liked him.
Brad Pitt is fugly. I don't see the big deal over him and never have.

Okay, I think my first major celebrity crush was :sorry: Christina Aguilera. I think she marks the beginning of me being honest about how much I liked women and it was the first time I felt that way about a celebrity, really. Of course, Stevie blows her out of the water, especially during The Dance through now. I really thought Christina was gorgeous when she was sporting that fresh and innocent look, like in these pics. I think the first two are just perfect. Then when she totally changed her look I hated it!

Are you joking? Those tights are what sold me!! I didn't know what a codpiece was but man, I liked it!

I used to kinda like him, but recently he just looks odd. I think he's had a bad facelift or something.

Now, it's Matthew McConaughy. Good God what I wouldn't do to that man.

Me too! Bon Jovi was the first concert I ever went to and I bought this T shirt that had this huge picture of Jon just covering the entire shirt and I was so proud to wear it to school the next day. I'd be embarrassed to wear that shirt now.

For me it's the voice and the simple fact that I don't find him attractive. I went to see that horrid U-571 movie because lovely Jake Weber was in it and McConaughy just bugged the **** out of me. Haven't liked him since. I did like him in A Time To Kill, though.

I liked him best naked playing conga drums. :D
That voice is part of what does it for me. I imagine he would be a very naughty boy, I like 'em dirty, so.....ummm......I gotta go....

Here's one I'll never explain:
Joe Montana, former quarterback for the San Francisco 49ers. I have never given a damn about football and was too young then (probably around five or so) to even understand the rules anyway. But for some reason, whenever he was on tv I was glued to the set.

LOL! That was my little sister's first crush. She would kill me if she knew I was posting this on a public message board, but she actually kissed the TV screen once when he was on! I've never let her live that down. ;) (In her defense, she was only 7).

Kevin Costner. I was 11 and watched Robin Hood nearly every day.
I had a crush on him when I was about that age too. I used to have Costner-moviethons. I'd gather all of his movies that I had - Robin Hood, Dances with Wolves, Field of Dreams, Bull Durham, Silverado - and watch them back to back. Took all damn day too 'cause his movies are all like 3 hours long, I swear it.
After the Costner phase came the Kurt Cobain phase, which I'll never explain either.
Nowadays it's Lindsey Buckingham, and a host of other men including Joaquin Phoenix, Johnny Depp, Russell Crowe (although that crush is dying out a bit), Rob Thomas (he looks so hot in "Lonely No More"), Hal Sparks and Gale Harold (of Queer as Folk), Patrick Dempsey, Olivier Martinez, Matthew McCaughnahey (spelling?) and a few others I can't seem to think of at the moment. No chick crushes at the moment, though Alicia Keys looks pretty good in her video for "Karma" but I don't exactly stop everything I'm doing and glue myself to the tv when she's on like I do to the men on my list. I swear I'm a closet hetero.

OMG - I had SO many celebrity crushes as a kid - I'm trying to pinpoint the first....it's hard but I think I've narrowed it to
Davy Jones :D
My sister was a big Monkees fan - so I would watch the show when she would and I had SUCH a big crush on Davy - my sister's best friend had a sister my age and we used to pretend Davy was our boyfriend
Imagine my shock and dismay to find out that the Monkees was an old show and Davy was actually older - I was so crushed
Others:
*Tom Hanks - I think I was the only girl in the seventh grade with his picture all over my wall  (this was pre-Forrest Gump - like Big era)
*Fred Savage - I loved him...I was sad when I recently found out he's gotten married...well there goes my chance with him ;)

my first one.. Tom Hanks. And I hate him now, thank you. People can change
Latest: Sandra Bullock :o
There's no trend here in liking romantic-comedy movie stars, just the first and the last, really!

I remember having a thing for Christie Brinkley in National Lampoon's Vacation when I was about 8 or 9.. At least I think it was Christie, then again it might have been because of the Ferrari...
Another of note from way back when I was a kid was the girl that played Jodie in "The Fall Guy" :p I must have had a thing for blondes pre puberty back then 'cos I've been a brunette lovin' guy for the past 20 years..
Currently, there are a number of celebs that I find rather pleasing on the eye.. Natalie Portman, Sandra Bullock, Halle Berry are three of the most useful... :D

Wow, I feel strange, just like I did when I was young, that I didn't have hardly any major crushes on movie people or musicians. And when i did, it wasn't that major, and it was Jack Nicholson. I still don't have major crushes, It's hard for me to really, really crush on someone if I don't know them. Why? because I'm very, very, deep.... I had some giant, giant, crushes on boys at school. I was more fascinated with girl movie stars, but I didn't really have crushes on them. It was more like, wanting to be like them, I guess.

Definitely Paul McCartney. I was probably about 5 or 6, and remember seeing "Let It Be" air on cable.
