I just had the week from hell at work, each day was worse than the last.I had to go in my car on lunches to listen to Stevie to keep sane.
Now I am offically on vacation and am quite ready for Stevie.
From now on Stevie will be on constant rotation, starting with "The Other Side of the Mirror" which is playing right this very minute,"Ghosts" to be exact.
See you all in Vegas.

As I was telling skcin, I too have had the week from hell! I haven't even had time to be excited about Vegas and that really pisses me off! I'm double excited because I've never even been to Vegas, even, before! Anyhow, you now have my full attention! I can't wait to meet you all! :blob2: :wavey:

Yup... people acting weird cuz they secretly wish they could go and can't. Losers!

Vegas Here We Come!!

PS: Guess I should have qualified my statement... I was referring to people at work and family members that weren't exactly invited. Hope I didn't offend anyone here, if I did... :sorry:

Is anyone ever really ready for Stevie Nicks? That is the question.

I haven't had the best week myself. I still don't have my car and it is very stressful trying to get things done without it. I wanted to get a few more clothes and I just could not see anything at the mall. Too expensive for me. :( I did manage to renew my license today so that was a good thing.

But I am still excited about my trip and I too can't wait to meet everyone and of course those buffets!!

I feel bad...my friend is having a housewarming party tonight. I work until 5 and really just want to go home, do 8 zillion loads of laundry and get myself together. I don't leave until Monday evening but I really want to try for once to not be so last minute. I may skip out :o

Sigh- these posts are just so painful for me! I just want to say that I hope you all have a GREAT time (SOB). Seriously, you all deserve to be excited- go for it and have a wonderful time. :woohoo:

It's super weird. For the months of March and April I was running around flipping out everywhere I went, but this month, it's like I'm in shock or something. I feel nothing. I know that as soon as I see our queen walk out on stage in the boots she wears all summer long, I will be doing a whole lotta this! :D and this :blob2: :blob1: oh wait. we can't stand. So I'll do this  'cause I'm gonna wanna stand! STAND BACK that is!

I wouldn't blame you if you did... we're going to be expending a LOT of energy over the next several days. Time to conserve where possible. My neighbor at work couldn't believe it when I told him I was coming in to work the day after getting back.

Really? All you guys are scared? Hmmm. You know, it's more dangerous driving a car... I am, strangely, not scared. But I've only flown once in my life. To Alaska. However, I still want that valium.... I am scared of figuring stuff out with getting to the airport, and getting on the right flight, and checking my bag, and all that, though. Like, pretty darn scared. And of landing, and finding who I'm supposed to meet, and my ride. HELP!!! HELP!!! ACK!

Darn right Liquid. Security will have to force me down or remove me from the theater if there aren't signs posted. :blob2: :blob2: :blob2:

Perhaps you ought to try a cocaine and Cognac combo platter as well. I mean, you know, just to honor Stevie.

And don't forget to chase it with either some Yogi Tea or a Red Bull :wavey:

I hate to fly too and I know Kelly doesn't like it much either. Hopefully we'll be too stoked to have anxiety. If not, I hear two dramamine do the trick (i.e. knocking me out for the entire flight so i've no idea what's going on).

I just got a Ticketmaster "reminder" that my event will be happening next week! Isn't that sweet of them? Guess they want to help get me pumped up. (Like I need that!) Anyone else get one of these? I don't remember getting one of these before. It's nice though..kinda like an unexpected greeting card.

Regarding the flying anxiety we all have:

So with great courage
We
Get back on the plane
We strive to carry on
We break through the pain
The show must go on
We ~
Get back on the plane…

(As you all know, from Stevie's journal)

:) ... yep, I've been checking out similar links, mostly cuz surprises during travel stress me out even more. I haven't flown since 9/11... haven't had a real reason to... so I'm curious to see all the security changes tomorrow. There's a whole list of things you can't take in your carry on, from "corrosives" to anything that can poke or cut. So I'm thinking fingernail polish remover, nail file and cuticle clippers are out. (yes, I WAS going to take all that stuff in my one carry on bag... I'm weird about my manicure.)

So, anyone who hasn't flown since 9/11 should check out the security links.

Hi Kato, I've been on the board for a while, but not posted.
I can fully understand the stress and chaos at work and going out to your car to listen to Stevie to calm down and keep sane. Work has been hell for me the past 6 months.

I hope everyone has a wonderful time in Vegas. I am there with you guys in spirit !
