I am just curious how many Ledgies plan to go to the show (s)? I am bowing this one out as I do not the time available or the money to embark on this, so I wish everyone a good time and hope to read all the great reviews here.

Hell no. I love to spend money, but I don't like flushing it down the toilet.

Have a nice time seeing Stevie solo!! I have seen her solo several times and when there you get caught up in the magical atmosphere.

I am going to see Stevie in Vegas so I have no need to go someplace like Great Woods or Mohegan Sun. Since I am doing the Vegas thing I have no money to see any other shows anyway. I can't say that I am that upset about either. Viva Las Vegas!

I got VIP tickets to see Stevie at PNC June 4th. I am thinking about going to Jones Beach but I am not getting VIP again. Cost 390 for two tickets.

If Stevie comes to California I will go see her. However, I am much more excited about going to Vegas so if she doesn't come to CA it will be ok with me.

I still remember waiting for Stevie and/or the Mac to do ANYTHING post-the Dance/Enchanted (I didn't get to see either tour).

I still remember going all over NYC trying to get a ticket for the Sheryl Crow concert in Central Park so I could hear Stevie sing ONE song solo (my very first live Stevie encounter, by the way).

And I still absolutely love and admire her as a singer, songwriter and person. So, my long-winded answer is you-betcha.

That one song is Central Park was worth it and I know this concert tour will be worth it, too. Besides, while I'm mostly an optimist, I have moments of realism creeping in. I have no idea what the future brings as far as having opportunities to see her singing in person--so, if I can afford it, I'm a-going. I can't afford Vegas with travel and accomodations, etc. so I'm doing two or three of these East Coast shows instead.

Going to Vegas. Would go to Stevie & Don, but no venues close enough to me.

As Paula and Goldenbraid said, I am going to Vegas (2 shows) and don't live close enough to the venues that her and Don are scheduled at. I have a sneaky feeling though that she will do something in the west coast towards the end of the year, either back in Vegas or at the LA or San Diego House Of Blues!! :D ... And I will be there of course!! :blob1:

Absolutely. Am I going to let the fact that Don is taking up half the stage deter me? Not quite. Stevie's going to be there - I'll be there. Going to Detroit - but still holding out for that rescheduled Toronto show!! (Figure if I keep mentioning it, it'll happen...)

If she does any shows in Florida, I'll be there. However, they have all been canceled at this point. I wish I could go though. Atlanta is one place I could go to, though. But do I really want to spend hundreds on plane tickets or drive ten hours to see a 2 hour show? I don't think so.

Besides, I'm going to Vegas! That certainly softens the blow.

I'll be in Hotlanta June 16th for sure. If they add more dates like possibly New Orleans, I would have to do that also. But as it looks, Atlanta will be my only chance other than Vegas to see stevie this summer.

Not going. I'll see Ms. Nicks in LV on the 13th. I haven't heard if Stevie and Don are playing together on the same stage, or if one is opening for the other. Since there is only one performer on the bill that I want to see, I don't think it will be worth it. Besides if the show clocks in at 2 hrs, maybe 1 hr will be Stevie. Unless the (her) set list is killer, I'll pass.

I would have considered it until Henley acted like an a-hole in the media so I won't give him one dime. Vegas is enough for me, and besides the "tour" doesn't seem to be going any further west than Chicago. I hope Jamie is right about possible HOB shows later this year. I'd love a 4-night run at the Fillmore, myself.

I'll go, what the hell. It'll be the only "big" concert I'll go to all summer plus it'll give me an excuse to visit my peeps in Dallas. That is, if the show comes to Dallas (I KNOW it won't come to Austin), if it doesn't, forget it. And I'm not going to Houston!! F*ck that. I have a serious aversion to Houston.

Unless she bothers hitting St. Louis, and the tickets aren't sky-high, then no. As much as I'd like to see her solo at least once, something tells me it's not happening. :(
On the upside, I'm *finally* going to get to see Duran Duran in concert, which works for me, considering I've been a fan since 1982, and this will be my first concert.

I'm going to try and go to the Atlanta show. I've seen Stevie 3 times solo, and I feel like if her touring days are coming to an end, I need to try and make it. My husband and I have friends in Atlanta and it's only a 4 and 1/2 hour drive. Plus, my husband actually likes Don Henley, so it would be a treat for us both.

Have a great time at the Duran Duran concert! I am going to see Def Leppard in late June, my first time seeing them and the ticket price was reasonable! Two very popular 80's bands that I like quite a bit. :] :]

Undecided. I do think it is highly unlikely that any promotr would want to finance a tour with ten dates. So if Stevie is obligated to do more shows and has to do them alone since Don has more important things going on, I WILL do those shows instead. If she is only touring with Henley for those ten days, I will go to opening night most likely. I have not bought tickets and am not concerned about finding them. Better tickets always drop into the pool at some point

I have had an unsettled feeling about this tour from the get go and I have never seen Stevie launch tour dates or a new album like this. It is shocking the way these tour dates are dribbling out with no continuity or promotion. Stevie still hasn't mentioned this summer venture in any of her recent interviews. (she talked about alot of other stuff, not just Caesars..sooo) It is baffling how unorganized this whole deal seems....and what the Hell is she touring to promote? The Greatest Hits that she never talks about either? (when she released Timespace at least she talked about how much she hated GH albums and showed 'some' enthusiasm by recording a couple of new tunes for it)

Is Stevie not aware that she's going on this tour?

She is quoted in the showbiz article saying that the Vegas gig is really great because she won't have to get in a plane and do a tour. But then she is going on tour 3 weeks later. It makes no sense that she isn't saying a word about this summer "tour." At a minimum, the way both Henley and Stevie are addressing it in the media makes me think neither of them are really into it.

I think you maybe reading into that a little. I think Stevie just meant that she likes the Vegas thing cause it's different from actual touring, meaning135-date-touring like she did with FM. After all, that could be tiring right? As far as promotion goes for her and Don, it baffles me as well why it's so low-key. Maybe it's because there are so few dates? Did you all notice she's got a solo date up for the Brogata Casino on 6-30?? That gives hope for future dates after that, WITHOUT Don! :blob2: (sorry Don. I love ya and all, but seeing Stevie solo...priceless..)

Most likely I am going to the Wachovia show on June 3rd.

I don't want to see Don Henley but seeing Stevie in Enchanted and twice for TISL isn't enough. Like Regina said, how many more chances are we going to get?

I just think they should have done smaller venues, my goodness.

Oh well, Stevie rocks and any chance to see her I will take.

Just wanted to let you know that a friend and I called the Borgata and Don Henley is indeed playing there with her on the 30th. It is an error on TM. The Pittsburgh show is also listed without Don but he IS going to be there. Nobody should be thinking that this Borgata show is a solo gig..if you are doubtful give the Borgata box office a call and they will tell you that the show is a Henley Nicks gig. (i agree I would prefer solo but that is not the case this summer)

I will be at the June 3 show in Philly. I noticed that the tickets didn't sell quickly...makes me wonder why my seats are so bad... ...probably because I went bargain basement this time and got the cheap seats. I really don't need to see any better than I can with my binocs, I'm there to listen, right?

I'm also seeing Alanis Morrisette in Philly, June 14th I think? She's doing an acoustic version of Jagged LIttle Pill. And so begins my summer concert season... YAY!
