Guess the Vegas Setlist contest!

Ok all... The first Vegas show is only about a week away.. and with all the guessing on what songs she might do and how many songs she might do, i thought it might be a fun idea to run a little contest here.. Anyone who guesses what the opening night setlist is for the May 10th show will win the following:


1. a 7" copy of "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around"
2. a 2-CD set of the May 10th show personally recorded by me**


If no one guesses the correct setlist, then whoever comes the closest will win the contest. If two or more people both guess the same setlist, then whoever turns in their setlist first will win the contest. Again, This contest is only for the opening night setlist!

The last day that I will accept guesses will be on sunday, May 8th. Also, no editing will be allowed, so make sure your setlist is accurate before posting..

I was going to enter this contest, but refrained because I had seen the spoilers. I say if you're going to do it this way you should let everyone who has entered so far edit their answers if they choose to do so. Otherwise it's completely unfair. Can't you see that?

what spoilers??? No one knows for sure what songs Stevie is gonna do.. the only SOLID information that came from the horses mouth was back in March... She stated that she would most likely do "the highwayman" and "fall from grace".. That's it!
This new interview gives nothing else besides the usual stand back which EVERYONE knew she was gonna do and "possibly" talk to me.. again, nothing is written in stone (from our end), so i don't see why you think my contest all of a sudden is unfair because of 3 or 4 songs she MIGHT do... Most of her setlists include 14 or more songs, so there's plenty of room for guesses.. I decided early to not allow anyone to edit their answers to MAKE IT fair... i layed out the rules very clearly that everyone had until sunday to post their responses... If you wanted to wait in the hopes that some spoilers would come out, then great!

what spoilers??? No one knows for sure what songs Stevie is gonna do.. the only SOLID information that came from the horses mouth was back in March... She stated that should most likely do "the highwayman" and "fall from grace".. That's it!
This new interview gives nothing else besides the usual stand back which EVERYONE knew she was gonna do and "possibly" talk to me.. again, nothing is written in stone (from our end), so i don't see why you think my contest all of a sudden is unfair because of 3 or 4 songs she MIGHT do... Most of her setlists include 14 or more songs, so there's plenty of room for guesses.. I decided early to not allow anyone to edit their answers to MAKE IT fair... i layed out the rules very clearly that everyone had until sunday to post their responses... If you wanted to wait in the hopes that some spoilers would come out, then great!

I will not reply after this, not because you told me to, but because I don't want to. That said, I do think I might have overreacted a little. I'm a teacher and it's my instinct to argue for a level playing field, and I get passionate about it and lose perspective. I didn't mean to spoil anyone's fun. I say if all the contestants are cool with it, it's obviously not a problem. Have fun guys - I mean that. :)

But...some of us had already posted our guesses BEFORE that spoiler thread was started and we cannot edit. I saw her Talk To Me comment and thought, damn, I don't have that in my guess but then I realized I still do not think she is doing it anyway! So, I am not worried about it. It is a fun little game and no one should take it too seriously.

AliceLover...some people guessed early because it is first person who posts the closest or correct set list. I, personally, would not want to "wait" for some article that mentions songs because it feels sort of like I am cheating at the game. However, I have no problem with others doing that cause I am gonna win!!! (I have Twisted in my guess, we ALL know she is going that one! lol)

This contest was lighthearted fun for me. The challenge was in trying to "guess" the correct set. I enjoyed reading everyone elses guesses too!

If editing were allowed, then eventually people would start copying each other and everyone would have ended up with a similar setlist... This way, by not allowing editing, everyone can use their own brains and try to guess all on their own.. i think i did the right thing by not allowing any editing.. Again, whoever comes closest and answers FIRST will win... if EnchantedSLN and AliceLover are both accurate or similar in their guesses, guess who's going to win? EnchantedSLN, because she answered sooner... Again, i made these rules perfectly clear on day one.. It was each individuals choice when to post their guess.. Everyone knew these rules before they posted.. :)
