What food are you completely addicted to? I am a milchaholic. I can even tell BRANDS of milk apart. (In a blind taste test). :D And it has to be WHOLE milk, none of this icky 2%, 1% pseudo milks.

I'm addicted to cheese enchiladas. I could seriously eat one or two every day of my life. I don't know what it is. I don't know what started it. But I find myself thinking about them often.

I'm also a bit addicted to the Smartfood white cheddar popcorn.

I was addicted to that Dasani lemon-flavored water, but I've recently decided that it's kind of nasty, what with the Splenda and all, so I'm switchin back to normal Dasani.

I'm sure everyone found that fascinating. :p

OMG!! Those are my favorite!! I always get them whenever I go to a Mexican restaurant. I did not see them on the menu at Margaritaville, either. :(

i love burritos... abso-freaking-lutely love them... i have a few places nearby that i have to have take out from a few times a week.. and they have to be those huge enormous ones that make you not need to eat for another day or so...

Livia took me to a place in austin with a couple of friends of ours a few years ago where i had the best chicken burrito ever... it was huge and everyone had finished their food and i was still working on it- i had to finish it... i don't even remember what it was about it that was so good... but at the end i dubbed it the best chicken burrito i had ever had... and i should know... i am a burrito connoisseur... i eat them everywhere i go. so if you're ever in austin texas you should go to el mercado and try their chicken burrito...

They were featured recently on Food TV Networks Food Finds. Looked good.

My current obsession are Yoplait Whips (currently eating some Strawberry Banana Bliss). They're amazing tasting--not yougurty at all.

This Japanese omelette-pancaky thing called 'okonomiyaki'. It's basically just a delicious omelette with whatever you want in it. My favourite has potato and cheese. Fantastic!

<img src="http://photos1.blogger.com/img/256/2770/640/IMGA3818.jpg">

You can cook it at your table or have the staff make it. Probably looks terrible in the picture, but its a national favourite, and cheap! Ever seen it in the US? I've never seen it in Australia, but maybe California has some okonomiyaki restaurants.

Iced Lattes from Starbucks are my downfall! I get a Venti Iced White Mocha with an extra shot of espresso, skim milk, and no whip. I am crazy for this drink- I drink several of them a week. Right now I am trying to diet so I haven't had one for a long time (five days!) I am fighting the urge to run down the block to Starbucks and get one. It is so hard dieting!

Which one am I not addicted to, is really the question...
Chips and salsa (the chips from a mexi restaurant) are the worst. Also I like to get my salsa from the mexi restaurant, too, but substitue salsa will occasionally be tolerated.
Cheetos are a bad one, too.
Any other chips
Mexican food - I've been eating burritos and chips and salsa since this Fri, interspersed with a few other things.
starwhite mints
atomic fireballs.

Really? You mean the secret's out? LOL I'll have to catch the rerun! El Mercado IS awesome!! I've never had a bad meal there. And their margs are deadly.

Watching Jessica savor that chicken burrito was hilarious! I don't know what makes them so special, but they are damn good!

My food addiction? Peanut butter. I have to eat some every day, or at least every other day. In fact, just a few minutes ago, I had 1/2 a pb&j sammich. I eat the reduced fat Jif.

It's out. Much like our super-secret New Jersey hole-in-the-wall for good seafood. I don't often eat it but their shrimp are out of this world as are their homemade sauces (it's called Ike's). Thanks, Food TV...for ruining secret little spots everywhere :distress:

My mom used to give me celery with PB. I used to eat the PB out and throw away the celery

I just read about this in a book called "Untangling my Chopsticks: A Culinary Journey Through Kyoto" (or something like that...I'm too lazy to get the book). She's a food writer so she gives you the recepies at the end of each chapter, so I'm planning to try it!

And since I've been doing the Japanese thing my addictions of the moment are homemade miso soup and a panfried chicken dish where you marinate chicken strips in honey, shoyu (a type of soy sauce), oil, scallions, and sesame seeds for 20 minutes, pan fry it, and serve over rice. YUM!

Extremely dark chocolate, those Swiss bars, what is it, 80%?

And curries. That's my comfortfood: a good curry. Love to make indian curry, but simple dutch "kip met kerrie" is what I have when I really need some comfort ;)

Addictions:
- cheese! Any kind really, I love blue cheese just as much as dutch cheese.
- salt liqorice. (sp?!)
- herring in mustard sauce.. I ate so much of it one time it I got sick, and now I can't really eat it anymore. Shame.

Hmm I have this addiction to cereal.

My favorite kind of all time is cracklin oat bran but I also love the kashi go lean cruch, the good friends with raisins, raisin bran crunch, peanut butter toast crunch and honey bunches of oats. I prefer them with vanilla soy milk. That stuff is to die for.

I also love smores and the chocolate pop-tarts. I could eat those everday but dont since they are bad for me.

Any type of blizzard from dairy queen but my favorites are the oreo and strawberry cheesequake. Good stuff!

I love bacon!! I could eat that everyday and when I was on atkins I ate it for one year straight. I try to only eat it once a week now. :(

Ranch is my downfall. It goes with everything!

all the same

I love bacon!! I could eat that everyday...

I am the same way with bacon. How is it possible for something to taste so good! I have a chef friend who added bacon to everything. He would roast potatoes with garlic, butter and LITTLE BITS OF BACON!!! So good! Yeah... bacon... *wipes the drool from his chin*

Other things I crave:
Sour candies (like gummies and stuff with that dreamy sour powder on them!!!)
Sushi (someone mentioned Miso! I LOVE MISO!!! and Shrimp Tempura too. Could live on the stuff)
Chips and Dip (quite possibly the worst thing a person can eat, but it is so good)
Chocolate
Lemon Tart (anything lemony. loves me the lemon)
Cupcakes

That's all I got for now!

I'm all about the bacon, too! We have a hole in the wall place called Mann's Grille, and they deep fry their bacon. It comes out all crunchy and chewy, and they serve you about a pound of it, and damn is it good!

Also, as me and friends call it, chicken f*cking tacos (say it fast, it's funny), homemade, with lots of tobasco! OMG!!! To die for!

Deep Fried Bacon! all right! I thought that was only on the Simpsons...  "Butter up that bacon, boy!"
Did I mention sausage? I have a serious thing for it. In fact, I just had an extreme sausage sandwich (no egg, substitute sourdough bread) from Jack in the Box. I try to keep sausage consumption at a minimum, since no one should really eat sausage or bacon, but sometimes I just break down. Oh, and I don't like bacon. That fatty strip part really grosses me out. I have to remove that part.

I love chips (Cheetos, Doritos, Ruffles, Fritos mostly), chocolate (Cracker Barrel sells a giant Hersheys bar for 99 cents and I always grab one when we eat there. No, I don't eat the entire thing in one sitting. LOL), Heath ice cream bars (not the ones on a stick, but the square ones), Gatorade (lemon-lime only!) over crushed ice....is my main vice these days. :( I know it's bad for my teeth and I'm iron deficient.

McDonald's Filet-o-fish is one of my fave things along with Quarter Pounder with cheese. Those two are the only things I get at Micky D's. Long John Silver's chicken and fish are my fave ever. Chick-fil-a #1 with fries and a coke....yum. I love me some chicken. LOL

My #1 weakness....french fries.

Dude, I left liver off, yuck. Is that really even a food? I was thinking of you yesterday because I got a slice of pizza with those little Italian sausages on it, yummy. I don't care for big sausages either, they gross me out. It's not the taste so much as the carelessness with the grinder, there's stuff in there I'm not supposed to be eating. Blech.

The way I always make my chocolate chip cookies is to follow the recipe on the back of the bag but instead of 1 cup of butter (that is 2 sticks) use 1/2 cup crisco and 1 stick of butter and your cookies will rise perfectly and taste great. I think they taste good with just butter but they dont seem to rise. They end up flat for some reason.
