Are you twirling yet? Around here there are tambourines, doves, gold glitter and shawls everywhere as we are one week away from NIGHT OF A THOUSAND STEVIES 15! Here are some insider tips and late-breaking news of this year's show.

NOTS fan DEBBIE HARRY will be performing a song this year in the third set. This was not advertised, but will probably be leaking out from various performers and sources, so we wanted to make sure that our NOTS subscribers had the news first.

This year's show features 29 segments in four acts beginning at 10:30, followed by the BATTLE OF 1000 STEVIES closing The Night. As always, audience members are urged to join this year's performers onstage for the Battle, but YOU MUST BE DRESSED AS STEVIE TO PARTICIPATE.

If you are coming to see a specific performer or performers, here is a list of who performs in each set (in no particular order):

ACT ONE (Mainstage @ 10:30) Lizzie Davis, Purple Gypsy, The Divine Grace, Chi Chi Valenti, Gypsy Wild, Stitch and Scarlet, Sherry Vine, Brooke

OMG, that is hysteeeeerical! :laugh:. I didn't know Joey Arias had done NOTS... his trademark schtick is doing a dead-on Joan Crawford, and here it looks like he's doing Stevie Crawford! :laugh:. And I think I am going to see Lavinia Co-op in my nightmares for many nights to come. :eek:

She's a Stevie fan (to what extent, I have no clue). She was interviewed for VH1's 100 Sexiest Voices and said something to the effect of "She's such a tiny little lady and then this big, deep voice just comes out of her."

I think she's more a fan of the event and has always embraced the club scene in NYC since that is where Blondie got their start. Hideous drag queens and all. And I've been to one of these shows - they do range from the hideous to the kinda pretty.

It was interesting, Paula... i was pretty wasted by the time Debbie arrived on stage, so i don't remember much.. but it was pretty short and she and Chi Chi just danced around the stage together with crows in their hand to "Nightbird"... Debbie looked very good (better than in that pic above, imo)... i guess it was cool.. i wished she woulda sang though :confused:
