So who watched the LONG-awaited Fourth Season premiere of Family Guy last night?
I was a little worried that it might not live up to past episodes, but it was hysterical. In fact, it was... in my very humble opinion... one of the most consistently hilarious episodes of the entire series.
I laughed like an idiot through the entire thing. :o
The prologue was great, with Peter rattling off the titles of TWENTY-NINE new shows that Fox has put on the air and then cancelled, in the years since they yanked Family Guy (Dark Angel, Titus, Undeclared, Action, That 80's Show, Wonderfalls, Fastlane, Andy Richter Controls the Universe, Skin, girls club, Cracking Up, The Pitts, Firefly, Get Real, Freaky Links, Wanda At Large, Costello, The Lone Gunmen, A Minute With Stan Hooper, Normal: Ohio, Pasadena, Harsh Realm, Keen Eddy, The Street, American Embassy, Cedric the Entertainer, The Tick, Louie, and Greg the Bunny).
Definitely a triumphant return! :D

Yep. It was worth the wait!
BTW, what did everyone think of that American Dad that followed? Obviously it's the same crew that makes Family Guy, but I'm not yet sure if I like it as much.

Obviously it's the same crew that makes Family Guy, but I'm not yet sure if I like it as much.I liked Sunday night's episode considerably more than I liked the episode they premiered after the Super Bowl... but, overall, American Dad just isn't "doin' it" for me.
Perhaps it'll grow on me though.

It pains me to say it, but I didn't like last night's episode. The whole 'Passion 2' story line was pretty stupid IMO.
I thought last night's Family Gut was pee-inducing and well worth the wait. American Dad on the other hand...yikes! I saw the "premiere" after the Superbowl. It was lame then and its lame now. The German fish? The effeminate alien? Brutal.

Family Guy - HILARIOUS! Did you notice what Stewy was embroidering when he and Brian were in bed discussing the kids? "Die, Lois!" LOL
I haven't watched the American Dad yet, it's recorded though. I liked the first one, but no, not nearly as much as FG.

I wasnt the only one who felt the same way that you do...I was somewhat disappointed with the episode.

I thought it was great also.
When Gepetto was bent over, trying to get Pinocchio to lie so his nose would grow and slilde up G's butt??? I laughed so hard and long that I missed the entire next scene.. "It's okay if you took more than one cookie ... did you? Are you sure?"

I. Almost. Peed.
Great ep!
Stewie - "Do you want us to pull this car over? Do you? Because we will, we'll pull over. That's it, pull the car over." Spanking Chris - hilarious! And when Chris took Meg's hat & out it in his pants? EEEWWWWW!
