Thanks guys! I took these with my digital. It was kind of unexpected too. My Dad and I just happened to stop at this little cove area and I saw some geese and took some pics. Just as I was about to walk away I saw 2 white things in the ocean headed my way. Sure enough they came kind of close to me. When the swans came in the geese made some noices and then when I took their pics one of the geese walked up to me and was swalking. I had to deal with a goose with a attitude.

For some reason I thought swans only lived in lakes and ponds. How weird. I hardly ever see swans.

Pretty pics....

We was at the lake today and a doe came right down to the water & got a drink, I couldn't believe how close she got & we didn't spook her. I said where is my camera when I need it?? But thats a story I need to post on the digital camera thread and haven't.

at AAA and my slides came out great! I was so relieved. The instructor really liked my photos! I am really going to have to pursue this some how. I really enjoy it as hobby. I just need to find someway to make some $ out of it.

I really like it too and am totally thrilled to finally have a digital camera! :blob1: As far as packing the camera, make sure you have a padded camera case and take it as a carry on. Also, don't let your film go through the x-ray more than once, it degrades it. Consider having your film developed in Vegas, even though it might be a little more $$. But if you can't swing it the film will probably be fine going through one more time but that's it. Oh I cannot wait to get this thing going in Vegas! I am going to have trouble limiting the number of pictures I take to fit on the card. :(

You can also buy a special film bag that protects the film through x-rays etc... my sister got one when she went to London :D

Oooh, good tip! I'm going to have to bring along my film camera also so I am sure to have enough room for all the pictures I want to take, which will be a lot! Pattie, I'm psyched that you have gotten into this! :D

I was just showing off my camera to my coworkers. :blob2:

I have a case already for the camera but then I am going to need to carry on 2 bags. I don't know if they will let me.
I am taking some 800 speed film with me and I believe that they will hand check those. I plan on getting all of my film developed in Vegas. CVS here I come. :blob2: I am also going to have them burn my digital pics that I get with my SD card to a CD so that I can use the SD card again.
