Hey everyone!
I know there are other college Ledgies on here, and its getting close to finals time! I start my finals first week of May, but as usual, Im in the *last 2 weeks of the semester rush* filled with papers, and presentations. I started this as a support thread. We'll gte through this together. I'll probably have to pull an all nighter tonight (I have to write a paper and prepare 2 presentations). Wish you all luck!

I finished my comps Friday. :blob2: :blob1: :blob2: :blob1: Everything else I have to finish pales in comparison to those.
I'm finishing up a paper due tomorrow. I have a paper due next Monday (not started) and a take-home exam.
Good luck everyone!!!!

I have finals in May and I can't wait until they're over. Lately I think I'm going slightly mad with worry.
I'll only have some of June off, then I'm taking some summer classes.
Good luck to everybody!

I can't wait for a little time off either. March/April has totally kicked my ass. With college, work, and recently moving, I'm beat.
Seeing Stevie four times will definitely help.

I'm so thankful I only have one actual final exam. I just have papers for my other classes. What's going to kill me is a 25-30 page legislative proposal for my state politics class in proper legal language and "bill" form. And the oral presentation where we pitch the bills and the class forms committees, to review, pass/veto etc. I hate public speaking
Good luck guys. Don't let yourself get too stressed out :]

I don't have Nursing finals. However, I do have national testing for the first week in May. Ick.
I did receive awesome news. I passed the Assess Test that certifies my college diploma on the first try. :blob2: What a relief that is.
Graduation = May 14 :woohoo:
GOOD LUCK EVERYONE!

Good luck, everyone! After a year of being out of college full time, i'll be dealing with this crap next year. I've been accepted to The University of North Carolina and The College of New Jersey. Now i'm just waiting on The University of Southern California.
Tiff....oye...how I DO NOT MISS POLI SCI!! Bless your heart, girl :xoxo:

I just have to do finals. Unfortunately they are cumulative and hard. Also, unfortunately, the midterm and final counts for 90% of our grade. I wish I had papers to write, cause that is kinda easier. But no, I just have to LEARN THE LAW and spit it out. Cumulatively. He grades on a curve, though, how rocking is that? (except for that one smart girl   ). For instance, I actually got D's on my midterm, or C's? but I have a B in both classes at midterm. kick ass.

Honestly, it totally depends on where I end up. I know that sounds somewhat ridiculous but in all honesty, I just want the damn piece of paper that says i've put in my time so I can go about my life making more than $10 an hour in something I hate doing.
My Associates is in Political Science/Communications. I've no desire to continue in Poli Sci. Inititally, I wanted to be a broadcast journalist and thought it would be most advantageous to have a dual degree in Poli Sci and Broadcast Communications because i'd be more marketable. I've no desire to be on television and in that industry in that capacity any longer (thank god I made that decision before transferring two years ago to Emerson).
If I end up going to USC (and am accepted), my choice would be Public Relations/Music Industry. If I end up at TCNJ, it'll end up being Public Relations and possibly Business as they have no Music Industry program and i'm not ballsy enough to audition for their music program (I haven't read music in a few years and i'm totally rusty). UNC would be the same as TCNJ. No matter what, I plan on double majoring.

I started out as an electronic journalism major. I hated it and am so glad I switched majors to public relations, ironically.

That sounds like an awesome program at USC. I've heard nothing but good things about Chapel Hill, as well. Best wishes to you.

Ahhh good so i'll have someone to dish with about PR. So PR is much more enjoyable then? Totally not surprised. I want to do something fulfilling and the more I thought about it, broadcasting wouldn't be for me. Of course, I kept trying to talk myself into it (along with other people doing much of the same) and was totally freaked out because that had been my plan since...oh hell, middle school. Suddenly, no plans. Nothing. I'm happy to know that come late August, i'll be attending school full time again.
Everytime Tiff talks about USC, I become completely and totally stoked. Unfortunately, it's going to come down to finances as per usual so we'll see how much is offered, etc. It's going to be a huge determining factor and i'm doing this without financial help from the parents and others.
Thanks, Krista!!

This is so strange.... I decided I was going to be a journalism major in fifth or sixth grade. Then after 2 1/2 years of college, I just couldn't stand it and switched to PR.
But anyway, I liked PR much more than journalism. I went to a regional school, so we didn't have much opportunity in the form of businesses, etc. But they let us design and implement a campaign for the University itself; I loved it. Fun major.
I hope it all works out for you, epsecially USC. :wavey:

Good luck to all those taking finals. I am happy to never have to take another final or board exam of any kind ever again. But seriously, good luck
