Hey guys,
Among all of the other stuff I'm getting rid of to go to New Zealand is the original concept artwork for the 1982 MIRAGE album. This LP-sized piece was given to Frank Harding (who I bought it from) by Mick Fleetwood. You can see Harding's name in the credits of "The Chain" box set as being thanked by the band. Harding lived in Australia when I bought this from him in 2001 for quite a hefty price.
Ken Caillat also confirmed it's existence a few years ago when the Penguin had the Q&A session with him. I emailed him pictures of it and he was "fairly sure" he recognized it. He also told me there were several other ideas for covers for that album, including a picture of Earth (ala Eyes of the World).
I am offering it to any of you guys first before I try to sell it privately. Let me know if you are interested. As you can see from the photos, I have had it professionally framed and matted. It was not dry mounted, so you can remove it from the frame if you wish.
