Jesus, and I thought I was hard on myself? Did I tell you my car was towed yesterday because I am an idiot? I forgot to move it by 8am when the tour busses start going around. I felt like the biggest tool on the block, dumb dumb dumb. This also happened at Christmas. So Merry f*cking christmas and Happy godd*mn birthday to me!
Anyway, I'm over it, what can I do?
And Paula, one thing, get yourself a nail polish or something today. Seriously GF, you need a lift. :)

Thanks Hillary. :) Do I have to go to the gym today? Is "it's my birthday" a good enough excuse? But I won't get to go tomorrow or Friday either because of my schedule. Oh woe is me.

Here's your horroscope today. First general, then yours.
"The Moon is in versatile Gemini today, emphasizing the variety of experiences in our lives. The big news, however, is that Gemini's key planet, Mercury, has completed his thrice-annual retrograde period and is stationary in the sky today as he begins his forward movement. The last few weeks have been a time to rethink old ideas, reconsider plans and to travel mental territory already covered. Now, however, we are ready to apply what we've been thinking. Details will begin to take care of themselves and we'll be free to focus on the future."
ARIES With Mercury turning direct in your sign, you'll be taking his change of direction quite personally. You've been functioning in your rational world based on old information. Today, however, it is time to let go of whatever has happened in the past. The water that has passed under your bridge is already heading out to the sea. Instead, become the forward-looking Aries that you really are. It's time to move ahead, not backward.
Here's your strange horoscope from freewillastrology
ARIES I think you're ready for your once-a-decade reminder from Anais Nin about the hazards of not growing. I first brought her pithy quote to the attention of the Aries tribe back in 1993. It had a salubrious effect on many of you, dissolving some of your crystallized fears and speeding up your evolution. Let's hope it works the same magic this time: "The day came when the risk it took to remain tight inside the bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom." (P.S. Think back to where you were in 1993. It's time for you to leap to the next level as you resume working on a long-term project you began back then.)

I loved it too. As always one of Curt's one liners put a smile on my face, but this one was extra special. :D Thanks!

Welllll, in '93 I graduated college. I had been considering getting a PhD in psychology to become a clinical psychologist but it was overwhelming so I did not move forward with that. It didn't seem right at the time.
I also went to Vegas and Arizona in '93. My friend and I went out there for spring break and stayed with her aunt and uncle in Tuscon. They were so nice, her uncle made an itinerary for us including making reservations and everything! He was retired and I guess had the time :D. We drove from Tucson up through Phoenix and to the Grand Canyon, stayed there for a night and then drove over to Vegas. This drive was the most gorgeous drive of my life. Unreal.
I did not begin a long term project in '93, I finished one, college. Except I abandoned human services in '95 because...and this is no joke...after a year of the hardest work of my life I got a $2.50 a week raise. They called it a "bonus". $5 extra in my bi-monthly paycheck. I felt like I'd been smacked. So if my "project" is a career helping people I've been told I may find that more rewarding than what I do but right now is not the time for that sort of a leap. I like what I do anyway. Although I don't love it.
