Torrent help! Please?

Hi everyone,
So I was a little late jumping on this torrent bandwagon, and now (predictably) I'm having problems. I read through the huge thread on the Rumours board and got a lot of help that way but am experiencing a new, strange problem.
I downloaded the 75-77 shows currently up on dimeadozen. I was able to open the files using VLC media player -- but it only plays the audio. No video! Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

Sounds like you need a codec for your mediaplayer. I don't know what kind of files these are, but if it's AVI, you could try this program to determine which codec you need to download: http://www.headbands.com/gspot/
Just had the same problem with another download.
