Yikes is right. He's whoreanus.

However, this is from The Sun and they're essentially a tabloid rag. Just the other day it was reported that MGM wants Brosnan back after all, but that if he doesn't do it, the new Bond will be Julian McMahon (who I think would be FANTASTIC). I wouldn't mind Clive Owen, though, because I <3 him.

The guy doesnt even look the part. To be Bond, you have to look the part. It's not like Batman where you can hide in the costume. Sheesh.

Exactly!

That's why I'm rooting for either Julian McMahon or Clive Owen all the way. They look like James Bond.

I was more into Jude Law in that movie, but Clive Owen is a marvelous actor. I'd love to see him as Bond. Brosnan is one of the best Bonds, but he's a bit too geriatric for it now, IMO. Either Owen or Julian McMahon would make me squeal with delight.

I sooooooo don't see any resemblance other than the fact that both are Australian. Jackman is too perky for Bond! Ever since he was on Broadway as the boy from OZ, man.

I just know that my choices are Clive Owen and Julian McMahon. No one else. :p That guy that supposedly has been cast as Bond is barfugly to the extreme and I could never buy into him as James Bond. NEVER.

I love McMahon, but I think he's a bit to rough, not quite sophisticated enough for Bond. He sure is hot, though. I still like Pierce as Bond, don't think he's to old, and he's my fave of all the Bonds.

I can't take my bond without some kind of accent. He doesn't have one. He might be better than that other guy, (the one they picked) but that guy does look more sophisticated than McMahon, IMO. But he looks kind of evil, like he should really play bond's nemesis. :D

My favorite Bond rumor was that they were looking at Dougray Scott (http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0779084/). Mmm. Drool.

I dunno. I can see the potential in Daniel Craig. Or, more accurately- I totally don't care. I mean, the Bond movies suck anyways now, so who cares if they have a sucktastic new Bond?

I do think Hugh Jackman would make a totally sucky Bond, though.

I think Jude could easily be Bond. It would be a new paradigm, "blond Bond" :p

There's nobody I've seen lately that can fill Brosnan's well polished Church's shoes and Brioni suit.. :distress:

It's a shame but I feel he's such a tough one to follow that nobody will work. Even two of Pierce's 4 films were crap in my opinion (Tomorrow Never Dies and Die Another Day) although the other two are amongst the finest in the series.

Ewan McGregor would be great but he's too good an actor to do it. (Can't have Obi-Wan as Bond too!)

Hugh Jackoff is well, there you go...

Daniel Craig is f**kin' balding, which Bond isn't. Owen isn't tough enough. Dougray Scott would be a good choice I guess but until the next film is finished I'm reserving judgement...

I'd dig it. And he would lend a bit of realism to the character because, c'mon, Moore would never have gotten those hot women. And it was a bit of a stretch for Brosnan to get Halle Berry. Denise Richards, sure, because she just naturally looks easy. I love watching him, so I could get into it.

I don't know enough about Evil bond nemesis guy to say if he will be good or not. Heck, maybe he will! Could he be worse than Dalton or Moore? Doubt.

LeGay Choppers! Sounds like one of his nicknames in the bedroom. The new Bond movie Casino Royale should be good, they just need a kick ass Bond. It would have been awesome if Quentin Tarantion had agreed to direct, but since Brosnan won't be Bond, he won't do it. Sucks, but that's life.

I just don't think Hugh Jackman is right for it- part of it probably IS that I now view him as a little campy because of Peter Allen. I'd just rather he didn't. I also think that Bond needs to be from Great Britain to follow with tradition. Pierce Brosnan's Irish, but he did grow up in the UK. I just find the idea of an Australian Bond, even if they could pull the accent off, strange. Clive Owen or Dougray would've been good.
