YAY!!! I finally bought two tickets to opening night. My daughter is going with me. She's my concert/traveling companion when I can't find anyone else to go. She's excited about going to Vegas. She hasn't been in 10 years and was too young to go into the casinos. I haven't been since 1976 and was too young too. Our seats are in the nosebleeds because I don't have a lot of money right now and have to pay for both of us. At least I'm going! :blob1:

An ugly disagreement with a coworker over dinner prompted me to run home, wrap myself in a shawl, dim the lights and turn on the Enchanted Box set. That's when I decided to take the cruise to Mexico some other time, it was gonna be with coworkers too... guess I scared myself. Maybe I should quit hanging out with coworkers..... SHEESH!! ;)

The countdown begins.....!!!

That's wonderful! And how fun for you and your daughter...
Stupid co-workers!
"nosebleeds"? Last I checked on Sat, there were still second section orchestra seats left...

When money is a factor...the 190.00 tickets, after fees, are not always possible. The upper levels are considerably less.

Congrats on deciding to go. All the seats in the venue are supposed to be decent so don't worry about your seat. I doubt anyone is standing and you will be able to see no matter where you are...according to my two bosses who saw Elton and Celine there. They swear the venue is fab and was built so that all seats are actually not that far away. If you can afford closer, go for it, but if not, don't sweat it, at least you'll be there, right?

I have to say that although the front tow really is the coolest thing ever, this venue seems to me like it would be best viewed from the mezzanine. That way, you can best appreciate the production and the use of the IMAX screen.

Co-workers :p Stevie is more important!

I really think that the upper level seats might actually be really good. The don't really look that high either from that picture of the venue.

I am sure that you made the right choice to see Stevie!

I think all the seats will be good. Sounds like different seats will have different experiences with the "action" on stage, but all will be great

Way to GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

Sounds like a pretty sound decision to me.

(Now, of course, I would have been a good travelling companion, too... but no one asked me...)

No doubt! I feel really good about this decision. Guess Stevie means more to me than I knew. The thought of being in a place where most of the activity revolves around food is depressing. On doctors orders, I've been dieting and still need to lose 20 more pounds. So why am I gonna go thru all that just to blow it on a boat?

My daughter chose the Luxor so we'll be there for 2 nights. That's the pyramid one that's all done up in Egyptian theme. I just booked everything tonight and printed off a bunch of coupons for stuff like Elvis-O-Rama and the Wax Museum.

Rock on Gold Dust Woman!! wow... I can't wait.
